The FIFA World Cup 2026 groups are set, with 48 teams split across 12 groups from A to L in the biggest tournament in football history. Each group contains four teams playing a round-robin format, with every nation guaranteed three matches as they battle for a place in the knockout stage.
For the first time, the top two teams from each group alongside the eight best third-placed finishers will progress, adding even more drama and importance to every fixture.
