2026 Dutch F1 Grand Prix Prix-view – Race Potential Rating

The Gurgler does like to use some obscure drivers in our Race previews and report, so who better to use than Teo Fabi to determine a race rating system.
So before each race we give a rating out of ten for four key category that are loosely based on each letter of Teo Fabi’s surname. Don’t know who Teo Fabi is, you should.
FAST 8/10
There’s lots of fast sweepers around the layout, and a nice long straight leading into one of F1’s better passing places. But although technically slower speed, the banked curve like slot cars used just after the first few corners makes F1 look super fast and cool.
ACTION 6/10
The cars look spectacular enough to make it look like action even if there hasn’t been much. Last season saw a DNF to Lando Norris that could have season defining. Back in the 1980’s and previous this track saw some decent races.
BIG HISTORY 6/10
Long history before the GP ended in 1985. Revived because of Verstappen in a modified but great layout.
INCLEMENT WEATHERÂ 3/10
Weather Channel says around 20% chance of rain all weekend, and it should be cooler than the current heat wave going around the northern hemisphere. There’s more rain either side of the GP weekend.
RACE POTENTIAL RATING 58% – Enjoy this track while it lasts, this will be the last F1 race here in a while.
