Celebrate National The Bachelor Australia Week + Our Alternative Sporting Bachelor Suggestions

The Bachelor Australia is about to become the next big reality TV social media talking point, and why not with Nick Cummins aka The Honey Badger the man in the middle this time.

It is threatening to make The Bachelor Australia interesting for a change.

Instead of it being about the most desperate people in Australia catting each other for the affections of a Ken Doll, they have a refreshingly normal human who will no doubt be a bundle of fun to watch.

We still won’t be watching, but wish them all well.

But as ever we celebrate National The Bachelor Australia Week with a few thoughts or suggestions of our own. In case they want to do another series with a famous sporting star, here’s our suggestions for Alternative Sporting Bachelors.

NOTE: The below are intended to be slightly humourous, and whilst they may fail to be funny, we also are ignoring on purpose if they are currently attached for the sake of our attempt. Of course if they are single then Channel Ten should sign them up now.

National The Bachelor Australia Week – Next Series Suggestions

TIGER WOODS

Not many sporting stars are as known known for their parade of women than the former best golfer in the world, and so who better to kick off another series of the Bachelor Australia with Tiger Woods looking for love again.

Tiger Woods loves Australia, so why wouldn’t he love Australian women.

Soon we’ll see just how he managed to be so prolific off the course as well as on it.

GREG NORMAN

On the golfing front, why not have another former golfing great and long term number. A man whose recent nude photo shoot wowed the world. The Great White Shark aka Greg Norman.

Why should The Bachelor Australia always be about are certain age group, why not get a different range of viewers involved. Or perhaps after the steaming Shark pics, women of any age wouldn’t be tempted to caddy for Greg Norman.

They would certainly live the life with the world famous Golfing great.

CHRIS GAYLE

The big hitting West Indian got himself into troubble on the last few visits to Austrralai with some inappropriate hitting (on), but few could deny he would be The Bachelor Australia dynamite.

Imagine the charismatic cricketer as the focal point of a bunch of single Australian lasses looking for love. And imagine how many cricket puns can be used in the show – bowled over, hit for six, blocked, third man, inswinger, leg break, dot ball, one short, leg byes, etc.

USAIN BOLT

Since he’ll be out here to play with the Central Coast Mariners, why not include the former fastest man on earth in the next series of The Bachelor Australia.

Not only will women be impressed with his speed, but imagine the loving looks he’ll get when he turns up for the first rose ceremony in his Mariners kit.

TODD CARNEY

First question is where is Todd Carney? Second is, how may Australian women would love to appear in the next series of The Bachelor Australia with the former Raiders, Roosters, Sharks, and Northern Pride rugby league star.

He may have to come with a warning to the women who aren’t aware of his background, but you certainly couldn’t argue he’d be boring.

Watch out if one of the episodes is a date at a Cronulla nightspot.

GUS GOULD

OK, so he may not be the best The Bachelor Australia candidate in the looking for love stakes, but imagine a Bachelor type show in Gus’ search for a new Assistant Head Coach of Penrith. We all know he’d get 12 applicants for the show overnight.

Kaaps Lochehttps://www.thegurgler.com
Kaaps doesn’t sleep much, and has a 60inch full HD TV and Foxtel, therefore watches more television than most. is also very strange and has a slightly different outlook on life, so comes up with a lot of rubbish that he thinks is funny and usually isn’t. Out of sympathy, we publish his stuff from time to time. So prepare your sympathy laughs and put that lovely drawing on the fridge for Kaaps.
