Our famed barely interesting stats all in the one place for your convenience and arguments.
THURSDAY 8PM – NORTH QUEENSLAND v MANLY
Manly have won three in a row v North Queensland.
Even better, Manly have won six in a row v Cowboys in Townsville. Cowboys haven’t beaten Manly at home since 2016.
North Queensland have won the only game between these sies on a Thursday, which was at Manly in 2018.
North Queensland are W6 L6 at home on a Thursday.
Manly’s Thursday record is W7 L19 on a Thursday. Away on a Thursday, last round’s win at Redcliffe was only their second win from 12 games.
Manly have won three in a row away from home, two of those wins were against the Dragons.
Manly have a surprisingly good away record v Qld sides – they have won nine of their last 12 going back to 2019.
FRIDAY 6PM – CANBERRA v MELBOURNE
Canberra have lost their last five home games v Melbourne, although the last home game for Canberra v Storm was in 2022 and in Wagga Wagga.
Canberra’s longer term home form v Melbourne isn’t much better – going back to 2003 their record is W3 L17.
There have been only three games since 1998 in Canberra on a Friday, the H2H is Melbourne 2-1.
Canberra have lost their only Friday game this year, but did win all four last season.
Melbourne last lost five games in a row in June/July 2012 but they still went on to finish second on the ladder and win the premiership.
Melbourne have lost their last two away games on a Friday, and seven of their last eight.
FRIDAY 8PM – DOLPHINS v PENRITH @ Darwin
Dolphins have lost all four games where they are the home side at a venue that isn’t Redcliffe or Suncorp Stadium.
Dolphins have won their last two home games on a Friday, but prior to that they lost the previous five.
Dolphins record on a Friday isn’t great – W6 L11.
Dolphins have won one of their last six games v Sydney teams.
Dolphins have won their only game so far in Darwin – v Parramatta in 2024 by 44-16. Penrith’s Darwin record is W1 L1 with games in 2013 and 2015.
Penrith have won five in a row away on a Friday.
No team has a better Friday record Penrith’s 78% win strike rate since 2020.
SATURDAY 3PM – WAHS v GOLD COAST
Gold Coast have a surprisingly good recent record v Warriors – winning seven of the last ten games since 2020.
Gold Coast have won their last three games in Auckland v Wahs.
Gold Coast are W4 L1 v Wahs for the last five games on a Saturday.
Wahs have lost their last two home games v Qld sides.
Wahs have lost their last three at home on a Saturday.
Last weekend was only the second time the Gold Coast had scored 50+ points and the first time away.
The last time Gold Coast won two away games in a row was April/May 2024.
Gold Coast have won only three of their last 20 away games on a Saturday, with two of those wins being against the Wahs.
Since last season, the Titans have won three of their 16 games v non-Sydney teams.
SATURDAY 5:30PM – SOUTH SYDNEY v ST GEORGE ILLAWARRA @ Accor Stadium
Souths have won their last ten home games v Dragons with a last loss in 2013.
Souths have won their last six home games on a Saturday v Dragons with a last loss in 2002.
Home or away, Souths have won 10 of their last 12 games on a Saturday v Dragons.
Souths have won only three of their last 13 Saturday games. But have won five of their last six home games on a Saturday v Sydney clubs.
St George Illawarra have won just four of their last 19 Saturday games.
St George Illawarra have lost their last five away Saturday games and won just one of their last 12 v Sydney teams away on a Saturday.
In fact, the Dragons away form is just terrible – winning only three of their last 22 games away on any day going back to 2023.
SATURDAY 7:30PM – WESTS TIGERS v BRISBANE @ Campbelltown
Brisbane have won their last three v Wests Tigers.
At Campbelltown, the Broncos have won eight games in a row v Tigers. The only other game between them since the merger was in 2000 and won by the
Tigers.
Broncos have won 11 of 13 v Wests Tigers on a Saturday.
Broncos have won all five away games v Wests Tigers away on a Saturday.
Brisbane don’t play many games away on a Saturday in Sydney in general, and since 2021 their record is W4 L4.
Wests Tigers won three games in a row for the first time since 2018 last weekend. They haven’t won four in a row since May/June 2012.
Last weekend’s win over Newcastle broke a run of five straight losses at Campbelltown.
Wests Tigers win strike rate on a Saturday of 46% at Campbelltown is their best effort aside from a one-off win on a Thursday.
Wests Tigers have won one of their last nine at Campbelltown v Qld sides. Tigers have won five of their last nine at home to Qld sides at any ground.
SUNDAY 2PM – ROOSTERS v NEWCASTLE
Newcastle have a woeful record v Roosters, since 2012 they have won three of the last 21 games.
At Allianz Stadium it’s even worse, since 2002 they have won just one of 13 games there.
Roosters have won all six games at Allianz Stadium on a Sunday v Newcastle going back to 1998.
Overall on a Sunday Roosters lead the H2H by 10-3.
Newcastle have won only one of their last ten away games on a Sunday.
Sydney Roosters have won only one of their last four at Allianz Stadium on a Sunday.
SUNDAY 4PM – PARRAMATTA v BULLDOGS
Bulldogs have won the last three games v Parramatta.
Parramatta have won five of the last six v Bulldogs on a Sunday, although the Bulldogs won the last fixture.
From 2025, the Eels home record at CommBank Stadium on a Sunday is W4 L4.
Parramatta’s record at CommBank Stadium v Bulldogs is W5 L2.
Bulldogs have won one of their last six at CommBank v all teams and six of 23 overall.
On a Sunday at CommBank Stadium the Bulldogs record is W3 L8.
