Christmas is almost here, and with carols in full swing at Shopping Centres everywhere during their around the clock offering, most would have heard the 12 Days of Christmas carols with a few variations by now.
So if you can make Australian versions, and why not a version of 12 Days of Christmas for our website based on our favourite things from 2017.
Here goes our only Christmas offering…..
On the 12th Day of Christmas, 2017 gave to us….

11 – Ashes Heroes taking back the Ashes, until we can’t handle a swinging ball in England again. (11 Heroes temporarily includes Marsh brothers)

9 – No to Channel Nein – Cricket and NRL
8 – 78th Minute Match Winning try to our favourite rugby league player of all time Willie Minoga in the Intrust Super Cup Grand Final
7 – Channel 7 hosting the Rugby League World Cup. It wasn’t Channel Nein, and that was the point. Also televised games from PNG. Unlike anyone else.
6 – SP Lagers
5 – 0 – 2 – Fox League Channel
4 – Divisions of English Football to keep us up every weekend. And we look forward to when it becomes 5 divisions of 20 teams.
3 – 3rd game of State of Origin and another series win.
2 – Tennis Jerks
1 – first ever premiership for the PNG Hunters and 1 giant we told you so at the start of the year.
