2026 NRL Round 7 Bets & Best Bets

Here is our one betting special for every game this weekend.

THURSDAY 8PM – NORTH QUEENSLAND v MANLY

BEST BET – Pick your own line – MANLY +8.5 @ $1.58

Both sides are in form, ironically the two teams with the most sackable head coaches a month ago have both picked up form, one by sacking the coach and the other not. But again, both sides are in form, so chickening out on a straight up bet on Manly because of the cynicism for how long the interim head coach bounce lasts.

FRIDAY 6PM – CANBERRA v MELBOURNE

BEST BET – Total Match Points – Under 49.5 @ $1.91

Canberra have a terrible home record v Melbourne a d have won only two games this season, but Melbourne are equally terrible at the moment and have only won two games this season. Going for Under in the total points because the stats stink and the last seven games in Canberra v Storm have been under the 49.5 total offered, plus 14 of the last 15 too.

FRIDAY 8PM – DOLPHINS v PENRITH @ Darwin

BEST BET – Penrith to win the first half @ $1.30

Penrith should win regardless, but who knows which Dolphins team turns up. Even when the Dolphins do turn up their first halves aren’t great – their 1st Half record this season is W1 L4, while Penrith’s is W5 L1. So you’ll presume last weekend’s L is going to be a one-off.

SATURDAY 3PM – WAHS v GOLD COAST

BEST BET – Gold Coast to win 1-12 @ $4.80

Time of some value. Both teams are coming off drought breaking wins – the Warriors beat Melbourne for the first time in a long time, and the Titans won away in Sydney and scored 50+ points for only the second time ever. So both tick the form box. Looking at the history box, the Titans’ record in New Zealand foes under the radar a bit. Gold Coast have won seven of the last ten games since 2020. Just as impressive is they have won their last three games in Auckland v Wahs.

SATURDAY 5:30PM – SOUTH SYDNEY v ST GEORGE ILLAWARRA @ Accord Stadium

BEST BET – Souths to win @ $1.23

There’s no reason to pick the Dragons – winless, poor form, coach under pressure, bad recent H2H with this weekend’s opposition. Souths have won their last ten home games v Dragons with a last loss in 2013. Souths have won their last six home games on a Saturday v Dragons with a last loss in 2002. The away record isn’t great either – St George Illawarra have lost their last five away Saturday games and won just one of their last 12 v Sydney teams away on a Saturday. If one feels adventurous, you can probably throw Latrell Mitchell in for an anytime try or two, as if he is named at fullback or not, he’ll be looking to impress with a try.

SATURDAY 7:30PM – WESTS TIGERS v BRISBANE @ Campbelltown

BEST BET – Pick your own line – Brisbane +8.5 @ $1.63

The Broncos record v Wests Tigers at Campbelltown is so good, but the Broncos have so many injuries and the odd suspension. You could bet on them to ignore their injury worries and get value, but we’re taking it safe with a +8.5 line. But you could really take the stats and go with the Broncos – at Campbelltown, the Broncos have won eight games in a row v Tigers. Plus, Broncos have won all five away games v Wests Tigers away on a Saturday.

SUNDAY 2PM – ROOSTERS v NEWCASTLE

BEST BET – Roosters to win 13+ @ $2.10

The Roosters have a great record v Newcastle – since 2012 they have lost only three of the last 21 games. At Allianz Stadium it’s even better, since 2002 they have lost just one of 13 games there. It’s a run of seven wins there v Newcastle in a row, with the average margin of 23.5 points. The last three games’ margin pushes over 30 points. So Roosters to win big.

SUNDAY 4PM – PARRAMATTA v BULLDOGS

BEST BET – Total Points – Under 48.5 @ $1.91

The last 13 games between these sides is below the Unders of 48.5 start for this match. Plus Parramatta don’t capable of scoring too many after last weekend, and the fear is the Bulldogs have peaked for the big Penrith match. Plus this season the Bulldogs and Eels are third and fourth last for average points per game scored, and combined their average totals for 2026 only come to 41 points.
