Need some barely interesting stats to round up your weekend NRL experience? Here’s the choicest cuts of data from the weekend that was.
- Team that have loss first three and lost first three is above. Sadly for Dolphins, Eels and Cowboys fans, your season is stuffed.
- Melbourne have never lost a Thursday game as the home side – all 19 of them, and at any ground.
- The Storm have lost just one of their last 12 games anywhere on a Thursday.
- Warriors have never lost to the Roosters on a Friday – three games.
- Brisbane have won five in a row v North Queensland and ten of the last 11 games v Cowboys on a Friday at Suncorp Stadium.
- Cronulla’s win v Souths was only their second win in their last eight games at Sharks Park on a Saturday.
- It’s the first time since August 2021 that Wests Tigers have won two away games in a row.
- Gold Coast have won eight in a row v Newcastle at CBUS Stadium.
- It was the Bulldogs’ first win over Parramatta on a Sunday since 2009. There’s been five losses in between.
- Manly have won 14 games in a row v Canberra on a Sunday at any ground. Canberra last defeated Manly on a Sunday in 2003.
