Talking of more, our Premier League Predictions Week 21 have the usual tips and stats, with a new addition – the Sacked Manager Rating. More on that later. Now for tips. And stats. Plus we throw in a midweek form summary too.
Each gameweek in the Premier League in 2024-25 we offer up a stat filled prediction preview, with some barely interesting stats and visuals, just enough to bluff your way through various tipping competitions or betting shops.

BRE v MCI – Man City played Brentford in the League three time in 2024, and won all three. Brentford have lost all three of their midweek games this season. No team has scored more goals on average at home this season than Brentford (2.7 per game). Man City are fifth last for last six form away from home.
WHU v FUL – Fulham (W2 D1) are undefeated in their last three v West Ham. Fulham have also won the last three clashes v West Ham in midweek. New West Ham manager has failed to beat Fulham as a manager (D3 L2). West Ham a 0/2 for home games v London clubs, while Fulham are unbeaten away to London clubs (W2 D1)
CHE v BOU – Chelsea are undefeated in their last six games v Bournemouth (W4 D2). There’s a neat pattern to Chelsea’s games at home to Bournemouth – Chelsea win two in a row then Bournemouth win the third as such – (oldest game first) CCBCCBCCBCC? so Bournemouth are due.
NFO v LIV – Liverpool may have won two of their last three trips to Nottingham Forest, but prior to that were winless in 12 games. Liverpool are W5 D1 and unbeaten v top six sides this season (at time of game) while Nottingham Forest are W1 D1 L1 and have avoided playing too many top six teams (at time of match – not current league position.) Forest are W3 L1 for midweek games and are on the same number of points scored at home as Newcastle and Fulham.
NEW v WOL – Newcastle have lost just one of their last 12 games v Wolves (W4 D7 L1). But they have won three straight at home to Wolves. Newcastle are undefeated to bottom six sides (at time of game) with a W4 D2 record. Newcastle have won five straight league games.
EVE v AVL- Aston Villa are undefeated in their last 11 games v Everton (W8 D3). Everton have failed to score six time of the last eight games v Villa. Four of the last five midweek games between Aston Villa and Everton ended in a draw. Everton won the other game. Aston Villa are unbeaten v bottom six sides this season (W5 D2).
LEI v CRY – Leicester (W3 D1) are unbeaten in their last four home games v Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace are W2 D1 v promoted clubs.
ARS v TOT – Arsenal are unbeaten in the last five league games v Spurs (W4 D1). Arsenal have lost just one home game v Spurs in the last 15 games (W9 D5 L1). Although….Spurs are unbeaten in their last four midweek league games at Arsenal (W2 D2). Arsenal are unbeaten v London clubs this season (W4 D2), Spurs less successful (W2 D1 L3).
IPS v BHA – The last three games between Ipswich and Brighton have ended in a draw.
MUN v SOU – Man Utd are unbeaten in 16 games v Southampton (W8 D8). Man Utd have a good midweek record too (W7 D4). Mand have a great record for midweek v Southampton, losing just once in 18 games (W13 D4 L1).

Premier League Sacked Manager Rating
With two managers gone since we last tipped a Premier League winner, we decided to try and guess who the next victim would be.
We took various stats (10 in total) and gave them a rating out of 10, with zero being the best scores for teams doing well, and 10 for the worst performed teams. Add all the scores together and you have the Sacked Manager Rating.
