A new kitten has become a surprise social media star.
Titan, a six month old ragdoll kitten, is the latest YouTube sensation thanks to his owner.
“I was filming funny videos of Titan to send to my family overseas. Silly things like Titan napping in funny places, meowing at me for things, or just doing cute cat stuff,” said Sarah (Titan’s owner). “I made sure to stay out of the videos as I wanted to focus to be on him.”
Though her family encouraged her to post the videos on YouTube as they proved popular in the family group chat and everyone needed to see how cute, funny, and mischevious Titan was.
“There’s a million cat videos on YouTube, so I assumed Titan’s would be quickly forgotten.”
Sarah was blown away by the reaction and adoration for Titan.
“The pleasing thing was all the attention was on my little baby and none of it on me, so I decided to keep going. One lady says they always watch Titan’s videos before bed and she sleeps a lot better with happy thoughts of Titan. I’m glad my boy is making people happy.”
Sarah now posts daily videos of Titan and is getting more comfortable with appearing in the videos talking and playing with Titan. Though she has no plans to monetise the videos.
“I have a stable and fulfilling full-time job. I don’t need to – or want to – make money off this. As long as people love watching Titan, then I’m happy putting up videos.”
