2022 NRL Round 22 Barely Interesting Stats Summary
Here we take the best points of interest for each match coming up this weekend, and share them with you for no cost. Feel free to share with friends and family.
Melbourne have scored just six points in their last two games v Penrith.
Penrith have won 12 games in a row at Penrith Stadium against teams from outside NSW, their last loss was in July 2019. In that 12-game run, the Panthers have not conceded more than 14 points including three shutouts.

Penrith have also won 10 in a row on a Thursday night – last loss April 2019. Melbourne have lost their last three Thursday games.
Warriors have won three straight v Bulldogs.
Bulldogs have lost their last six away trips on a Friday and ten of their last 11 going back to mid 2017.
Souths have only won two of the 10 matches against Parramatta at Parramatta Stadium (and other names) since 1998. But those two wins did come on a Friday (Friday record 2-1).
Parramatta have won their last four Friday games v Sydney teams. They have also conceded exactly 20 points in three of those games.
Parramatta have conceded the fewest Penalties/Ruck Infringements combined this season. Melbourne are the worst.

North Queensland have won five of their six away games v Sydney sides this season.
North Queensland have the second best away record this season behind Penrith.
Brisbane have won all five home clashes against Newcastle on a Saturday night since 1998.
Broncos have won 27 of 32 homes games against NSW sides on a Saturday. They did however, lose their first three at the renovated Lang Park in 2003. Since then it is just two losses in 19 games including their last start loss to the Tigers.
Newcastle have lost their last 15 away games to a Queensland side. Their last win was against Gold Coast Titans in March 2015.
Canberra have lost one game in a row to teams that allegedly contain weak-gutted dogs.
Canberra have won 14/18 home games v St George-Illawarra. They have won all four on a Sunday. They have also scored between 30 and 32 points in those four games.
Gold Coast have won one game since March.

For the record four teams (Souths, Parramatta, North Qld and Melbourne) have played the bottom eight the most (12 times).
