THURSDAY 8PM – NORTH QUEENSLAND v SYDNEY ROOSTERS

Best Bet: Roosters to win @ $1.53

North Queensland are a hard team to tip and bet on, so have looked for reasons to wager on the Roosters, as the Cowboys winning last weekend probably means they won’t this week. The Roosters have a good record at the new Stadium in Townsville – the Roosters have won all three games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium. Plus the Roosters seem to like playing in Queensland winning 14 of their last 17 games away to Qld sides.

FRIDAY 6PM – ST GEORGE ILLAWARRA v DOLPHINS @ WIN Stadium

Best Bet: Dolphins to win 13+ @ $1.78

There’s a few stats that actually favour the last paced Dragons to be competitive against the Dolphins this weekend like the Dragons have beaten the Dolphins twice at home from two games and have won 6 in a row v Qld sides at WIN Stadium. Then you look at the Team Lists and note Dolphins are fresh off the bye and draw a different conclusion.

FRIDAY 8PM – MELBOURNE v BULLDOGS

Best Bet: Total Match Points Under 42.5 @ $1.90

Melbourne have great recent form v Bulldogs and at home on a Friday, and the Bulldogs are much less effective away from home winning just two of their last 12 away games. But still, it’s hard to tip the Storm winning. It’s easy to see a low-scoring tough battle however, so under the 42.5 is the best bet. Six of the last seven Bulldogs matches have seen total points under 42.5, and the Storm have had their fair share too with three of their last four. Five of the last six H2H have been under 45 points, so we’ll factor in both team’s finals ambitions to tighten up the scoring a little more.

SATURDAY 3PM – GOLD COAST v WAHS

Best Bet: Total Match Points Over 49.5 @ $1.89

The last two games between these sides on the Gold Coast have seen 50 points or more, including a scarcely believable 66-6 win to the Titans. Gold Coast have scored 38 in their past two NRL games too. And mainly tipping the overs in the hope that this is a free-scoring fun game to kick off the Saturday triple header.

SATURDAY 5:30PM – PENRITH v CANBERRA @ Glen Willow Oval, Mudgee

Best Bet: Canberra +8.5 Start @ $1.88.

Canberra have some decent form lately, and won this game at this ground last season. But Penrith are Penrith and hard to fully tip against.

SATURDAY 7:30PM – BRISBANE v NEWCASTLE

Best Bet: Total Match Points Under 45.5 @ $1.90

Despite the Broncos recent H2H dominance over the Knights at Suncorp Stadium it’s still hard to figure that Broncos are $1.50 favourites – a team that has won just once in their last ten games. Going for the unders here because of Newcastle’s weaker form in Brisbane and key injuries don’t help. Although playing a Queensland team does bring out the best in Bradman Best. The last two games at Suncorp Stadium between these sides finished under the 45.5, five of the last six games for Newcastle were under, and Brisbane’s last four games were under as well.

SUNDAY 2PM – CRONULLA v SOUTH SYDNEY

Best Bet: Cronulla to win @ $1.28

There’s way too much form and stats for Cronulla going into this game and if the stat of Cronulla have won ten in a row at Shark Park on a Sunday isn’t enough then there’s their recent form of winning 8/last 9 and winning 13/last 14 games at Shark Park. Plus Souths are due a shocker after winning last week.

SUNDAY 4PM – WESTS TIGERS v PARRAMATTA @ CommBank Stadium

Best Bet: Parramatta to win @ $1.41

Wests Tigers are a rabble as per usual and Parramatta were competitive against Penrith at the same ground last weekend. If you’re looking for evidence that is a little more mathematical then Parramatta have won their last three games at CommBank Stadium on a Sunday v Sydney teams and the away side has won the last eight games between Wests Tigers and Parramatta.
