2026 NRL Round 10 Results & Stats – Match by Match

Match Summary and Stats

The Bulldogs were lucky and unlucky at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday night. Unlucky as the sin bin was a little harsh and it woke up the Dolphins. But lucky the Dolphins don’t seem to want to play until around the half hour mark. Given the Dolphins only really played 40 minutes of good rugby league, and similar to last weekend against Melbourne,  and still won 44-12, you wonder how large the margin could be if they played great for 80 minutes. Jamayne Isaako had a big night out scoring three tries, kicking a bunch of goals, and even pulling off a try assist from mid-air over the sideline. Jeremy Marshall-King returning for the Dolphin is a boost to counter the midweek loss of Daniel Saifiti to medical retirement. The Dolphins have now won two in a row after two close losses to the current top two, a form line which bodes well for a finals charge. The Bulldogs are in a hole, with only a Penrith win to smile about in the last seven weeks. Ray Stone got his first try assist in a reward that was fitting for his 100th NRL game.

The Points of Interest

  • Dolphins are unbeaten v Bulldogs on a Thursday. (Two games)
  • Dolphins are W6 L2 at home on a Thursday and W4 L1 of those home games at Suncorp.
  • Bulldogs have never beaten a Qld team away on a Thursday (9 games).
  • Bulldogs have won only one of their last seven games.
  • Bulldogs have won two of their last 17 games at Suncorp Stadium.
  • Bulldogs have lost all seven games at Suncorp Stadium on a Thursday.

Match Summary and Stats

The Roosters won as expected on Friday night in Gosford, but they didn’t have things go all their way. Well, they certainly had a bunker review or two on their side. The Titans took the lead early and gave plenty of fight, but the Roosters had James Tedesco in the finest of form, with the Origin hype and buzz getting louder. Maybe with the Roosters form so good more of their players will make the origin sides, which could slow down their recent progress up the ladder after a slow start. Gold Coast at least look like they’re trying, but just don’t know how to win.

2026 NRL Round 8 Results Stats - G2 Roosters v Gold Coast

The Points of Interest

  • Roosters have won seven straight at Gosford.
  • The Roosters are on a six game winning streak, which is the competition’s longest current streak.
  • Roosters have won their last six games v Qld teams and won eight of their last nine games v Qld teams on a Friday.
  • Roosters have won 15 of their last 18 games as the home side on a Friday going back to 2020.
  • Gold Coast have lost their last five games at Gosford v all sides.

Match Summary and Stats

An entertaining match, where golden point seemed the right end result for two teams giving their everything. The match ended strangely as Mitchell Moses kicked a beautiful field goal in golden point from over 30 metres out, to seal the win. But then referee advised that there was late contact on the Eels’ halfback’s leg and that a penalty had to be taken. So it was kind of a penalty try and could be the first three points play. Prior to that both sides were capable of winning although back to back tries to the Cowboys mid way through the second half made you think that the Cowboys has sealed the game. No doubt all will be Todd Payten’s result in the coming weeks.

2026 NRL Round 8 Results Stats - G3 North Queensland v Parramatta

The Points of Interest

  • Parramatta have won nine of their last ten v North Queensland on a Friday at any ground.
  • Parramatta have won five straight on a Friday.
  •  Parramatta have won their last four away games on a Friday.
  • The loss for North Queensland broke a winning run of four in a row at home on a Friday.

Match Summary and Stats

If the Dragons were going to turn things around this was the game. Fresh off a bye, clean slate, their most beatable opponent for the next six rounds, but instead they were blown off the park by Newcastle. Five tries to Greg Marzhew was a Knights highlight, three of those coming in the second half after Newcastle led 32-0 at half time. The 14-0 Line Break stat to Newcastle, and the 44-10 end result is about all you need to know.

2026 NRL Round 10 Results Stats - G4 St George Illawarra v Newcastle

The Points of Interest

  • Newcastle’s 14 Line Breaks is an equal top effort for this season, and Dragons are the first team not to register one.
  • Unlucky for them, St George Illawarra have lost 13 in a row.
  • Dragons have lost 18 of their last 22 games on a Saturday.
  • Dragons have lost their last four at WIN Stadium.
  • 13 of the 15 games between these sides on a Saturday have been won by the away team (either side).
  • Newcastle have won their last five away games on a Saturday. And 11 of their last 15.

Match Summary and Stats

Many were diving to change their tip from the Rabbitohs to the Sharks after Latrell Mitchell was omitted through injury, but it didn’t stop the Rabbitohs giving the Sharks a beating on Saturday. Cody Walker was at his best, Alex Johnston scored a hat trick despite hobbling at times, and the Latrell swap of Mitchel to debutant Siegwalt seems to be seamless. Cronulla were disappointing and slide outside the top eight, while South Sydney consolidate their top four spot.

2026 NRL Round 10 Results Stats - G5 South Sydney v Cronulla

The Points of Interest

  • Alex Johnston now holds the record for the most amount of hat tricks.
  • Souths win broke a run of five straight wins for Cronulla over the Rabbitohs. All those games were on a Saturday.
  • Souths are 3/3 at the Olympic Stadium this season.
  • Souths have scored 30 or more points in their last six clashes.
  • Souths have won 13 of the last 16 clashes v Sydney teams on a Saturday at the Olympic Stadium.
  • Cronulla have lost their last four Saturday games.

Match Summary and Stats

The Broncos recent heroics with a depleted side through injury and suspensions finally hit a wall as Manly were comfortable winners on Saturday night at Brookvale. Manly were as good as Brisbane were poor, with the Broncos completion rate just clearing 50%. Kieran Foran continues to work his magic with a side that wasn’t much different to the Seibold era, and the word on the street is he may well get a full time contract offer soon.

2026 NRL Round 10 Results Stats - G6 Manly v Brisbane

The Points of Interest

  • The Broncos completion rate of 56% is the season’s worst effort so far. Interestingly, the Broncos also have the third worst from their Penrith game in Round 1. Their line break total of one is equal worst for the season along with the Panthers game.
  • Manly have won their last four games v Brisbane at Brookvale. It’s W7 L3 overall.
  • Manly have won their last five games at Brookvale v Qld sides with at least one win v each Qld team too.

Match Summary and Stats

The losing streak ends at seven games as Melbourne return to winning ways against a Wests Tigers outfit who they have a glorious record against. In saying that, they had never lost to Rabbitohs in Melbourne and blew that recently. The result looked pretty well sealed at half time, but give the Tigers credit for pushing on and clawed their way back a little with 15 minutes to go. But maybe it was the sniff of an Origin series, but Cameron Munster woke from his 2026 slumber with a decent game, and the barely known before this season Ativalu Lisati made a difference and the Storm are W3 L1 with him in the side this season. Despite a couple of heavy losses in consecutive weeks, the Tigers are still in the top eight, and Melbourne just 15th.

2026 NRL Round 10 Results Stats - G7 Melbourne v Wests Tigers

The Points of Interest

  • Melbourne have won nine in a row v Wests Tigers.
  • Melbourne are now W17 L2 at home to the Wests Tigers and won the last six in a row.
  • Melbourne have won eight straight at AAMI Park on a Sunday v all teams.
  • Melbourne have won their last 15 day games at home on a Sunday, and by a combined 604-190.
  • Wests Tigers have won just three of their last 21 away games v non-Sydney teams.

Match Summary and Stats

Game of the round saved for the last match, as Penrith and Canberra traded tries for the first 50 minutes. There wasn’t much to split them thereafter, except one side has Nathan Cleary and the other doesn’t. In time, Canberra’s tow Ethans may equal one Nathan Cleary and more, but for now Penrith have the top man. The Panthers have been pushed in recent weeks with hard fought wins over Dolphins, red hot Manly and recovering Canberra, and sit on top of the ladder. It’s still hard to believe their only loss came agains the Bulldogs.

2026 NRL Round 10 Results Stats - G8 Canberra v Penrith

The Points of Interest

  • Canberra haven’t beaten Penrith on a Sunday at Canberra Stadium since 2008.
  • Canberra have lost five Sunday games in a row.
  • Penrith have won 13 of their last 14 games on a Sunday.
  • Penrith have won 23 straight games anywhere v teams from NSW/ACT on a Sunday.
