Wolves have lost all three games this season so far against promoted sides.

Four of the five games between Aston Vilal and Sunderland on a Sunday ended in a draw, the other was won by Villa.

Going back to 2012, ten of the 13 league games between Everton and Liverpool at Everton ended in a draw.

Arsenal are unbeaten in their last five league games v Man City W2 D3.

Man City are unbeaten in their last ten home games v Arsenal. The last two games between Man City and Arsenal in Manchester were draws.

2025-26 Premier League Predictions Week 33

SATURDAY 12:30PM – BRENTFORD v FULHAM

Stats: Fulham have won three in a row v Brentford. Brentford are unbeaten in four home games v Fulham on a Saturday – W3 D1. Brentford have won just one game v London clubs this season – W1 D3 L5. All three games for Brentford v London clubs at home have been draws. Fulham record v London clubs this season is W5 D1 L4.

Verdict: Brentford are the current Draw Kings, which is good news for Liverpool and Chelsea above them.

Prediction: Brentford 1 Fulham 1

SATURDAY 3PM – LEEDS v WOLVES

Stats: Leeds have won their last four games v Wolves. Leeds are W3 L3 v current bottom six sides. Wolves are W1 D2 L4 v current bottom six sides. Wolves have lost all three games this season so far against promoted sides.

Verdict: Goodbye Wolves, Hello Safety this weekend?

Prediction: Leeds 2 Wolves 0

 

SATURDAY 3PM – NEWCASTLE v BOURNEMOUTH

Stats: Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last seven games v Newcastle, but five of them have been draws.

RECORD v MID 8 TEAMS
NEWCASTLE: W3 D1 L7 Home W2 L3
BOURNEMOUTH: W3 D5 L3 Away W1 D2 L2

Verdict: Newcastle should thank Spurs to avoid them being the biggest club with the worst season. Bournemouth will be looking for a new manager next season after their manager resigned in advance. Maybe he’ll go to Newcastle.

Prediction: Newcastle 1 Bournemouth 1

 

SATURDAY 5:30PM – TOTTENHAM v BRIGHTON

Stats: Brighton are unbeaten in three games v Spurs – W2 D1. Spurs are unbeaten in their last four on a Saturday v Brighton W3 D1. Since January Spurs have won zero games and drawn five from 14 league games and are dead last on the revised ladder. Meanwhile Brighton’s record of W6 D3 L4 is good enough for fifth since January 1st. Brighton are undefeated v current bottom six sides – W5 D4 and at home it is W3 D2.

Verdict: Oh dear, if only Spurs didn’t have to play the most in form Premier League team.

Prediction: Tottenham 0 Brighton 1

 

SATURDAY 8PM – CHELSEA v MAN UTD

Stats: Chelsea have won their last two at home to Man Utd in the league and drawn the three games prior to that. The last three league games between these teams anywhere on a Sunday ended in a draw.

RECORD v “BIG SIX” TEAMS
CHELSEA: W2 D2 L3 Home W1 D1 L1
MAN UTD: W5 D1 L2 Away W2 D1 L1

Verdict: A Champions League battle featuring a game where at least one of these teams won’t make it.

Prediction: Chelsea 1 Man Utd 2

 

SUNDAY 2PM – ASTON VILLA V SUNDERLAND

Stats: Aston Villa are unbeaten in their last six home games v Sunderland, four of them draws. Four of the five games between Aston Vilal and Sunderland on a Sunday ended in a draw, the other was won by Villa. Sunderland’s record v current top six teams away this season is W1 D1 L3. Aston Villa are W2 D2 v promoted sides this season.

Verdict: More about Aston Villa, but Sunderland have put on the best promoted team season in a long time.

Prediction: Aston Villa 1 Sunderland 1

 

SUNDAY 2PM – EVERTON v LIVERPOOL

Stats: Going back to 2012, ten of the 13 league games between Everton and Liverpool at Everton ended in a draw. Over the same period at either ground the record is 13 draws in 28 games. Liverpool are unbeaten in their last nine Sunday games to Everton, with seven of them draws. The last four games between these sides at Everton on a Sunday ended in a draw. Everton (3) have beaten more current top six sides this season than Liverpool (2).

Verdict: On any normal weekend this derby would be the game of the round. Maybe Liverpool don’t deserve it. Everton rarely do except for this game.

SUNDAY 2PM – NOTTINGHAM FOREST v BURNLEY

Stats: Burnley are unbeaten in nine games v Nottingham Forest, with five draws. These teams have never met on a Sunday.

BURNLEY: W2 D2 L3 Away W1 L2

Verdict: A game key to relegation battle, but should be Saturday 3pm.

Stats: Arsenal are unbeaten in their last five league games v Man City W2 D3. Man City are unbeaten in their last ten home games v Arsenal. The last two games between Man City and Arsenal in Manchester were draws.
