Alternative “Dance Crews” for the Dance Boss TV Show

The Gurgler gets very excited when we see a new Reality TV show being rolled out in Australia, and Channel Seven’s Dance Boss TV Show sounded right up our alley.

The Dance Boss TV Show promised to give us the biggest battles ever seen on TV. As big as The Ashes one of the ads hilariously claimed, showing Channel Seven know nothing about Cricket (also confirmed when they hired Michael Slater for their commentary team).

Has it delivered on all the hype? Who knows, we’re not watching the rubbish. Dannii Minogue is as likeable a front person for a TV show as a certain cricket gent.

Going on the ads it was going to feature groups of amateur dances from walks of life, like Office Workers, Ambos, McDonalds workers and Airline staff.

All we know is that they have missed an opportunity to give all walks of life a chance at being on the Dance Boss TV show.

So as ever, we are quite happy to provide some alternative dance crews for producers to consider for next series. If there is one. And if anyone reads this before the show gets the arse or “special new time”.

Here then are our alternative “Dance Crews” They Missed from Dance Boss TV Show.

HIGH SECURITY PRISONERS

You can’t us that the baddest of the bad can’t rock a dance floor. And talk about interesting. They’ll have the requisite amount of back story that reality TV demands too.

Issues with security are the problems of the producers, but think about the fans.

PENSIONERS

The problem with most reality TV is the slender wedge of demographics required to make people watch it, or is that because the TV Producers are telling people what they want to see. Probably. So we say for the next series of the Dance Boss TV Show that they should have more older people.

Straight outta Maranatha we say. Or a Sunshine Coast LNP conference. Like a 60 year old Julio.

If TV ads are correct, old people love to get out and show their cool moves, and they could bring a refreshing sense of retro to the dance battle.

ONE NATION CANDIDATES

You can hardly get a wider cross-section of people within one working group than a pile of One Nation Candidates.

Preferably for interest’s sake, get them on the show before doing any background checks (much like the political party) as it usually turns up something that they can add to their routine.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS OR “BOAT PEOPLE”

Instead of whisking all of the people trying to illegally enter Australia to some far-flung place, why not allow some of them to form a dance troupe and if they win grant them the right to stay in Australia.

Surely there’s a world-class dancer or two in the group.

RUGBY LEAGUE REFEREES

It has been a tough year for rugby league referees – told to crack down, not to crack down, and crack down again. They have also been blamed by Ricky Stuart for 45% of the Earth’s major problems.

Why not let them take out their frustrations, and truly have a chance to shine by allowing their slow motion breakdancing and other signature moves out on the dance floor.

MEDIEVAL RECREATIONISTS

Game of Thrones is such a big deal, so why let the Dance Boss TV Show tap into that market by inviting some medieval recreationists to get into a dance battle.

Imagine seeing a dance move that involves jousting.

Kaaps doesn’t sleep much, and has a 60inch full HD TV and Foxtel, therefore watches more television than most. is also very strange and has a slightly different outlook on life, so comes up with a lot of rubbish that he thinks is funny and usually isn’t. Out of sympathy, we publish his stuff from time to time. So prepare your sympathy laughs and put that lovely drawing on the fridge for Kaaps.
