UK Football League Easter Weekend Festival

Nothing says Easter like 72 Games of UK Football squeezed into the period of Good Friday and Easter Monday, and with four days off from the daily grind, there’s never been a better time to get involved in the UK Football League Easter Weekend Festival.

Yes, we said back in October that we weren’t going to talk Football League for the rest of the season, because no one was reading our weekly previews, and ironically not one person read that goodbye article in a nice funny twist, but with such a big football offering we couldn’t resist.

Good time to reconnect too with the titles up for grabs and the first trickling of clubs being promoted and relegated. And Ipswich continue their guaranteed mediocrity with a lower midfield position, although they have threatened at time to break out of that and be just plain awful.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED THUS FAR?

CHAMPIONSHIP

Rotherham United have been relegated, and

LEAGUE ONE

Sheffield United have been promoted.

LEAGUE TWO

Doncaster Rovers have been promoted.

WHAT COULD HAPPEN THIS WEEKEND?

With two games in quick succession for this UK Football League Easter Weekend Festival,  a lot could happen by Easter Tuesday, and here are the highlights.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Both Newcastle Untied and Brighton could confirm promotion to the EPL this weekend.

Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic could be relegated.

LEAGUE ONE

Sheffield united could be confirmed as League One Champions.

Bolton Wanderers could be promoted back to the Championship at the first attempt.
