With Australian Golf at its highest interest level since the heady days of the world beating Greg Norman, Wayne Grady and Steve Elkington, many are following Australian golf more than ever.
But with all the focus on Jason Day, and Adam Scott amongst others, The Gurgler as ever will keep golf and Aussie sporting fans alike posted on the lesser known but no less loved exploits of Rod Pampling.
THIS WEEK’S UPDATE
A solid performance on his full return to the PGA Tour. Cut was made – so money to come. He was 19th going into the final round on 13 under, but a final round 2 over par saw him drop down the leaderboard to equal 49th. Still ahead of names like Francesco Molinari and D.A. Points. And made the cut ahead of other big names like Steve Stricker and fellow Aussies Marc Leishman and John Senden.
