2026 NRL Round 14 Results & Stats Summary

Here are the main stats from the latest round of NRL that can be used to solve arguments, impress that person on the train you’ve been eyeing off for months, or slowing the rise of petrol prices.

STAT OF THE ROUND

  • Brisbane won all six games v Qld sides in 2025, it’s W2 L2 this season so far.

GOOD RUNS CONTINUE

  • Manly are 4/4 at Brookvale under Kieran Foran.
  • Excluding the loss earlier this season, the Storm have won 22/25 home games on a Friday.
  • The away side has won nine of the 11 fixtures between Canberra and Roosters since 2020.
  • Dolphins are 4/4 v Cowboys in Townsville.
  • Dolphins are 7/7 for away games v Queensland teams that aren’t the Broncos.
  • Penrith have won 21 games in a row on a Sunday v Sydney teams.
  • Penrith have never lost a Sunday game at CommBank Stadium.
  • > Cronulla have won eight in a row at home v Dragons.

BAD LUCK STREAK CONTINUE

  • Newcastle have lost seven Friday games in a row.

BREAKTHROUGH

  • Melbourne’s win was their first on a Friday this season, breaking a run of five losses.
  • Gold Coast winning broke a run of five straight losses v Qld sides.

TEAMS THAT CAN’T WIN THE PREMIERSHIP

  • Gold Coast conceded 50 points in Round 1 v Cronulla. And Gold Coast sides don’t win things.
  • Parramatta conceded 50+ points twice. Once v Melbourne in Round 1, then against Gold Coast in Round 6.
  • Dolphins – conceded 50 points v Manly in Round 5.
  • Melbourne Storm – conceded 50 points v Penrith in Round 5.
  • St George Illawarra – lost 11 in a row to start season – sacked coach – lost next game conceding 62 points – and only won in Round 13. Will have to win 11 of their next 12 games to make the 50% win rate needed to make finals.
  • Wests Tigers can’t win the premiership after conceding 52 points against Cronulla in Round 9. And plenty more v Penrith in Round 15.
  • Bulldogs – can beat Penrith, can’t beat two teams with a combined injury toll of 27 players over two rounds. In crisis.

POINTLESS STAT OF THE ROUND

The most frequently occurring scoreline in the NRL since 1998 is both 18-16 and 20-18 which has happened 142 times. Since 2020, it’s 20-18.
