2025-26 Premier League Predictions Week 24

SATURDAY 3PM – WOLVES v BOURNEMOUTH

Stats: Bournemouth have won three in a row v Wolves at Wolves. Bournemouth are unbeaten v current bottom six sides this season (W2 D4), only four other teams remain unbeaten v current bottom six sides. Of those, Man City are the only team with a 100% record (7 games).

Verdict: Will probably be more interesting than it first looks on paper.

Prediction: Wolves 1 Bournemouth 2

Stats: Arsenal have won six in a row v Leeds. Arsenal are also unbeaten in their last 14 games v Leeds (W12 D2). Leeds’ last win was back in 2003. Leeds’ last win at home to Arsenal goes even further back to 2000 (D2 L7). Arsenal are W6 D1 v current bottom six sides, and W2 D1 v promoted sides. Leeds are W1 D3 L3 v big six sides and W1 D3 L3 v current top six sides.

Verdict: Arsenal can smell a title choke, as Leeds can taste another good result v top sides.

Prediction: Leeds 1 Arsenal 3

SATURDAY 3PMBRIGHTON v EVERTON

Stats: Everton are unbeaten in their last five trips to Brighton (W3 D2). Brighton are W2 D4 L3 v current sides in the middle eight, Everton are W3 D1 L3. Brighton are unbeaten at home v middle eight sides (W2 D4), Everton are unbeaten away to middle eight sides (W1 D1).

Verdict: The de-facto Saturday 3pm special.

Prediction: Brighton 1 Everton 1

SATURDAY 5:30PM CHELSEA v WEST HAM

Stats: Chelsea have won their past four games v West Ham, by a combined odds of 15-2, which will probably be the price of the odds for West Ham to beat Chelsea away. Of the 24 times these sides have met at Chelsea since 2000, the home side has won 17 games, with West Ham winning twice. Chelsea are W5 D1 L1 v current bottom six sides, while West Ham are D1 L5 v current top six sides. Chelsea are W5 D3 L1 v London sides, and West Ham are a significantly worse W1 L6.

Verdict: West Ham need their recent good run to continue, but playing Chelsea with new manager bounce won’t help.

Prediction: Chelsea 3 West Ham 2

SATURDAY 8PM – LIVERPOOL v NEWCASTLE

Stats: Liverpool haven’t lost to Newcastle since 2015 (W13 D5). Liverpool haven’t lost at home to Newcastle since 1995 (W24 D5). Five goals or more have been scored in Liverpool v Newcastle in three of the last four games between these sides. Newcastle are W1 D2 L4 v current top six sides.

Verdict: A shame Isak won’t be playing.

Prediction: Liverpool 3 Newcastle 2

SUNDAY 2PM – MAN UTD v FULHAM

Fulham’s record v current top six sides is W1 D2 L4 but have lost both away games. Man Utd are W1 D1 L1 v London clubs at home. Fulham (D2 L2) are winless on a Sunday this season, Man Utd are W3 D2 L3 on a Sunday, but have lost their only Sunday home game.

Verdict: Box ticked for beating top two sides in consecutive weeks, now can they throw it all away by losing at home to (travelling very well) Fulham team.

Prediction: Man Utd 1 Fulham 1

SUNDAY 2PMNOTTINGHAM FOREST v CRYSTAL PALACE

Stats: Five of the last six games, and seven of the last nine games between Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace have ended up draws. Nottingham Forest has a good record v London clubs this season with W4 D2 L4. Nottingham Forest have a superior record on a Sunday this season, with W4 D1 L4, Crystal Palace’s Sunday record is W2 D3 L7.

Verdict: A loss here makes a relegation scrap very real for Crystal Palace. A game neither team wants to lose. Like most games.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1 Crystal Palace 1

SUNDAY 2PM ASTON VILLA v BRENTFORD

Stats: Aston Villa have never lost at home to Brentford (W4 D7). Aston Villa have an outstanding record on a Sunday this season with W10 D1 L2, Brentford are W2 D1 L3. Brentford have lost both of their two away games v current top six sides.

Verdict: The neutral wants Aston Villa to win and make it a title fight.

Prediction: Aston Villa 3 Brentford 0

SUNDAY 4:30PM TOTTENHAM v MAN CITY

Stats: Man City have won their last two league games at Spurs. Tottenham have won their last four home games on a Sunday though. Tottenham are second worst for points-per-game at home this season, and fourth worst for home expected goals. Tottenham (D1 L2) haven’t beaten a big six club at home this season, and Man City haven’t beaten a big six club away from home (D1 L1).

Verdict: Will Man City provide the manager-sacking home loss they crave?

Prediction: Spurs 0 Man City 2

MONDAY 8PM – SUNDERLAND v BURNLEY

Stats: The last 11 games between these sides at Sunderland ended W6 D4 L1 for Sunderland. This game will be the first meeting between these sides on a Monday since 1979. Sunderland hold a decent W4 D2 L2 v current bottom six sides. They are unbeaten v bottom six sides at home (W3 D1). Burnley are 2/2 v fellow promoted sides this season.

Verdict: What’s this Saturday 3pm special doing on a Monday?

Prediction: Sunderland 1 Burnley 1
