FOOTBALL | 2025-26 Premier League Predictions Week 10

Each gameweek in this 2025-26 Premier League season we offer up a stat filled prediction preview, with some barely interesting stats and visuals, just enough to bluff your way through various tipping competitions or betting shops.

We also attempted to guess the final Premier League ladder in advance. Follow the link to that here.

Verdict: One sided on historic form.

Brighton 2 Leeds 0

SAT 3PM – BURNLEY v ARSENAL

STATS: Recent H@H since 2020 is less one-sided than you’d think – Arsenal’s record is W3 D3 L1. Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 11 games at Burnley (W6 D5) and four of those six wins were 1-0. Crystal Palace W1 D3 are still unbeaten at home this season. Brentford’s away record this season is currently W1 L3. Crystal Palace lead the Premier League for expected goals.

Verdict: Should be plenty entertaining at a minimum.

Crystal Palace 3 Brentford 1

SAT 3PM – FULHAM v WOLVES

SAT 3PM – NOTTINGHAM FOREST v MAN UTD

STATS: Nottingham Forest have lost al their games so far this season against the big six and the top six. Nottingham Forest have won their last three games in a row v Man Utd.

Verdict: Old mate with the long hair can almost taste the haircut. What luck Man Utd come across the Premier League most out of form team. Man Utd’s away record ins only W1 D1 L2 this season so far, but it’s better than Forest’s home record of W1 L3.

Nott’m Forest 0 Man Utd 3

STATS: Chelsea have already played four London clubs and are an unbeaten W2 D2, while Spurs have one win from one game v London teams. Chelsea have won four in a row v Spurs. Spurs are 1/1 v big six sides this season, Chelsea are W1 L1.

Verdict: Spurs have dodgy home form this season, and after losing at home to Sunderland Chelsea are a bit poor in general. This should be fun or cagey, but not both.

Tottenham 0 Chelsea 1

SAT 8PM – LIVERPOOL v ASTON VILLA

STATS: Liverpool (W6 D2) are unbeaten in their last eight games v Aston Villa. It’s seven in a row at home (W6 D1). Despite winning their last four games, and recovering their season, Aston Villa had the fifth worst expected goals over that run but actual goals scored is almost double the expected goals. Aston Villa are 2/2 v big six sides this season.

Verdict: Aston Villa have won as many in a row as Liverpool have lost in a row and they are together in the table.

Liverpool 1 Aston Villa 2

SUN 2PM – WEST HAM v NEWCASTLE

Newcastle (W3 D1) are unbeaten in their four games so far against the current bottom six sides. Verdict: On their way to matching Forest for number of managers in a season.

West Ham 1 Newcastle 1

SUN 4:30PM – MAN CITY v BOURNEMOUTH

STATS: Last season’s win by Bournemouth at Bournemouth v Man City is the only win from their 23 games together. Man City’s home record v Bournemouth is W11 D1 and ten wins in a row and they have scored 35 goals in that ten game run. Bournemouth are W1 L1 v big six sides this season. Bournemouth are 1/1 v current top six sides while Man City are W1 D1 L1.

Verdict: Who’d think this would be a Sunday 4:30pm kick off featuring both sides in the top six and Bournemouth the highest of the two. Crazy season.

Man City 2 Bournemouth 1

MON 8PM – SUNDERLAND v EVERTON

STATS: Everton have lost their only game v promoted sides this season. Sunderland (W3 D1) are one of four teams unbeaten this season at home. Sunderland are already five points clear of Southampton’s season tally from last season. Everton have won the last three games v Sunderland by a combined 8-0.

Verdict: As an Ipswich Town fan I have happy for Sunderland as well as being even more bitter about how awful Ipswich were last season. But like Sunderland, we didn’t lose to Chelsea in our promotion season.

Sunderland 1 Everton 1
