Worth slightly less than a Liverpool transfer window, less pointless than Wolves, playing in a formation that was unfashionable and illegal 60 years ago, and safer in our job than a West Ham manager, it’s our 2025-26 Premier League Predictions Week 7.

Each gameweek in this 2025-26 Premier League season we offer up a stat filled prediction preview, with some barely interesting stats and visuals, just enough to bluff your way through various tipping competitions or betting shops.

BEST OF WEEK 7 STATS

West Ham have won their last two trips to Arsenal.

The last four games between Chelsea and Liverpool on a Saturday have ended in a draw.

Everton are unbeaten in their last six games v Crystal Palace (W4 D2).

Burnley average the fewest shots this season, and the most shots conceded.

Brighton have won four in a row at Wolves.

 

FRI 8PM – BOURNEMOUTH v FULHAM

STATS: Bournemouth have won their last three at home to Fulham. Bournemouth’s record v Fulham on a Friday is W2 D3 L1 and W1 D1 at home on a Friday. Bournemouth are one win from one game v London clubs this season, only Spurs have a similar 100% record. Bournemouth W2 D1 are unbeaten at home this season, while Fulham D1 L2 are winless away.

 

SAT 12:30PM – LEEDS v TOTTENHAM

STATS: Spurs have won four in a row v Leeds in the Premier League and have scored four goals in the last three meetings. Leeds are D1 L1 v big six clubs this season. Leeds have lost both of their games v London clubs this season. Spurs have won their only game v promoted sides this season.

 

SAT 3PM – MAN UTD v SUNDERLAND

STATS: Since the moon landing in 1969, Man Utd have lost only one home game to Sunderland, the record is W20 D9 L1. On a Saturday Sunderland won the third most recent game at Man Utd in 2014. Man Utd have won their only previous game this season v promoted sides. After three games Sunderland are only two points off Southampton’s entire away points total from last season. But Sunderland are also yet to play a big six side, unlike last season’s promoted sides.

 

SAT 3PM – ARSENAL v WEST HAM

STATS: West Ham have won their last two trips to Arsenal. The Gunners are yet to play a London club this season. West Ham have played a London club this season, three times, for three losses. West Ham have won two of the last five games with Arsenal anywhere on a Saturday.

 

SAT 5:30PM – CHELSEA v LIVERPOOL

STATS: Chelsea and Liverpool haven’t played each other in the league on a Saturday since January 2023. The last four games between Chelsea and Liverpool on a Saturday have ended in a draw. Chelsea are unbeaten at home to Liverpool across the last four meetings where three have been draws. Liverpool have won their only game v big six clubs this season, Chelsea have lost their only game v big six clubs.

 

SUN 2PM – EVERTON v CRYSTAL PALACE

STATS: Everton are unbeaten in their last six games v Crystal Palace (W4 D2). Going back to 2015, Everton have lost only once in 20 matches v Crystal Palace (W10 D9 L1). Everton (W5 D4) are also unbeaten in their last nine home games v Crystal Palace. Everton have drawn their only game v a London club this season. 

 

SUN 2PM – ASTON VILLA v BURNLEY

STATS: Aston Villa have won their last three games to Burnley. The H2H for these teams on a Sunday is Aston Villa two wins and Burnley one. Aston Villa have drawn their only game v promoted sides so far this season. Burnley average the fewest shots this season, and the most shots conceded.

 

SUN 2PM – NEWCASTLE v NOTTINGHAM FOREST

STATS: Newcastle have won their last three v Nottingham Forest and five of the last six matches too. It’s two wins each for games at Newcastle. Newcastle lead the H2H on a Sunday too – W3 D1 L1. The last two Sunday games between these sides at Newcastle have seen 12 goals scored. 

 

SUN 2PM – WOLVES v BRIGHTON

STATS: Brighton (W5 D2) are undefeated in their last seven v Wolves. Brighton have won four in a row at Wolves. Wolves have won the only game played at Wolves on a Sunday between these sides. 

 

SUN 4:30PM – BRENTFORD v MAN CITY

STATS: Man City are unbeaten in their last four games v Brentford (W3 D1). Brentford have won the only game on a Sunday v Man City back in 2023. Brentford are W1 D1 v big six clubs this season. Man City have drawn their only away game this season to London clubs. Arsenal are third for shot per game and Brentford are second worst.
