FRI 8PM – LIVERPOOL v BOURNEMOUTH
H2H League Record is Liverpool 13 Draw 1 Bournemouth 2
H2H League Record @ Liverpool is Liverpool 7 Draw 1. Bournemouth have scored in three of those games.
Liverpool have played just one Friday game in the Premier League for the past three season for one win. Bournemouth haven’t played any.
Mo Salah has scored 11 goals in 12 games v Bournemouth, but famously got no goals or assists in their 9-0 thrashing of Bournemouth in 2022.
SAT 12:30PM – ASTON VILLA v NEWCASTLE
Aston Villa have won five of the last six home games v Newcastle, with their only loss in that run being two seasons ago.
Aston Villa are unbeaten in their last seven home games on a Saturday v Newcastle. Winning the last four and drawing the three before that.
There sides had exactly the same record v top six teams last season W3 L5 D2.
SAT 3PM – BRIGHTON v FULHAM
Brighton have won their opening fixture in the last three seasons.
Brighton’s record v London clubs at home last season was W4 D2 L1.
Brighton won the game v Fulham at home last season, but won none of the four home games before that (D3 L1).
SAT 3PM – SUNDERLAND v WEST HAM
West Ham’s record v promoted sides last season was W4 D1 L1.
It took until October for a promoted side to win a game last season. Then November for the next two teams.
West Ham are unbeaten in their last eight game v Sunderland (W4 D4).
The last three games between these sides at Sunderland have ended in a draw.
West Ham’s record on opening day for the past three seasons is D1 L2.
SAT 3PM – TOTTENHAM v BURNLEY
Spurs’ record v promoted teams last season is W3 D1 L2.
Spurs have won their last three v Burnley.
At home it is five wins in a row and 11 of their last 12, with the only non-win being a draw.
Spurs have won seven in a row at home on a Saturday v Burnley, and were last beaten in 1974.
Burnley’s record v big six clubs in their last visit to the Premier League in 2023/24 was D2 L10.

The last two matches between Wolves and Man City at Wolves have seen each side get a 2-1 win.

Arsenal are undefeated in their last five league games v Man Utd (W4 D1).
Arsenal have won their last four home games v Man Utd and six of their last seven with one draw.

Man Utd’s record v top six teams last season was W2 D5 L5.
Arsenal’s W5 D5 record vs Big Six clubs last season meant they were the only club in 2024-25 who didn’t lose to a Big Six club.
MON 8PM – LEEDS v EVERTON
Everton’s record v promoted teams last season was W3 D2 L1.
Everton are undefeated in their last five games v Leeds (W3 D2).
Everton didn’t play a Monday games last season.
