2025 NRL Round 10 Stats of the Week
Need some barely interesting stats to round up your weekend NRL experience? Here’s the choicest cuts of data from the weekend that was.
- Dolphins broke a five game losing streak v Sydney clubs, and they are now 6/8 on a Thursday v all teams.
- Parramatta have now lost five in a row v Qld teams.
- Gold Coast’s win over Newcastle was only the second time an away team has won the Newcastle v Gold Coast fixture from the last 16 games.
- Since 2023, the Broncos have actually won eight of their last ten away games on a Friday. Their two losses were both against Souths.
- Prior to the Bulldogs’ last two wins over Canberra, the Raiders had won nine straight.
- Bulldogs have won eight of their last nine away games.
- Seven teams have a better for and against than the second placed Warriors. Including the 12th placed Dolphins.
- The last three draws in the NRL were all on Saturday.
- Melbourne have won eight straight v Wests Tigers. Sunday was the second time the Storm have scored 60 or more v Tigers in that run.
- Melbourne have scored more tries in the first half an hour of their games this season than three teams have all season so far – South Sydney, Newcastle and Parramatta.
- It was the 13th time that Melbourne have scored 60 points or more.
- Cronulla have won six of their last seven games v Manly and three in a row at Brookvale on a Sunday.
Zero Points Stats Special
So the Wests Tigers failed to trouble the scorers….it happens more than you think, and not everyone’s season is ruined. But most of them are.
With a bunch of zero based stats below for all.
- The three teams to score zero points and still win a premiership have happened in the last five seasons – Melbourne (2020) and Penrith (2022, 2024).
- Every team bar two since 2013 who finished last scored zero points during that losing season. But at least the last two seasons when it didn’t happen was 2024 and 2022.
