By popular demand, and despite the vocal objections of one person, The Gurgler’s NRL Stats Team has produced another Stats Extra, this time focusing on one of the NRL’s hardest men, a rugby league weapon if you will, so enjoy if you dare the Ray Stone NRL Stats and more.
We know Ray Stone would probably hate the attention, he does seem to hate a lot of things: missed tackles, losing, scoring tries, seagulls that land on the field at Kayo Stadium during games, and lots of other things.
But he only takes it out on the field, in the form of a body jolting low tackle, a breath squeezing midriff tackle, or even just an icy stare at an opponent is enough.
Ray Stone has no time for accolades, he simply needs t ogo on tackling, which is why we must do it on his behalf for all the Ray Stone fans out there.
All the main stats are here, and while some don’t make top 10 lists, Ray Stone’s impact on the Dolphins and Dolphins fans alike is huge. We are sure he would make a Top 10 for punishing low tackles, scowls, and hate per square inch.
But onwards now to the definitive Ray Stone NRL Stats.

Ray Stone NRL Stats Analysis
The Dolphins enforcer continues to be selected in the run-on side, and so he should, as you can hear sense the terror when R. Stone is named in the starting XIII. Lock seems a tight fit, with tackling a plenty and the ball playing developing. A few penalties and errors against the Warriors, not as many errors as the officials who badly favoured the Warriors in key moments. Dolphins probably didn’t do enough to win anyway, because there wasn’t enough Ray Stone on the field.
Ray Stone earns another starting position in their win over Parramatta, this time in the second row, and he didn’t disappoint. Like he was ever going to. Plenty of low, hard tackles and minimal action with the ball. Just the way we like it. And Ray doesn’t, because he hates everything. His season stats are improving with the game time.
Ray Stone’s two try heroics against the Melbourne Storm were timely, as he was in danger of dropping out of the top 17 potentially with returning players coming. If you can believe the Dolphins would dare entertaining the thought. Ray Stone has scored two doubles against the Storm, and only three other tries in his career. And didn’t he love it.
With the Dolphins running out of hookers, of course Ray Stone, ever the team player, put his hand up and did a magnificent job. We claim that it was mostly Ray Stone’s efforts, efficient dummy half passing and spine threatening defence that gave the Dolphins such a first half advantage. Never mind the 30 points scored he had little to do with. The Dolphins tired in the second half and so did Ray Stone. But with actual hookers coming back this weekend Ray Stone can return to the bench and terrorise opposition players when he gets off it.
