Our famed barely interesting stats all in the one place for this week of fewer games.
CANBERRA v CRONULLA
Cronulla are on a three game winning streak v Canberra.
Canberra have won the only Thursday game between these sides. Canberra are W2 L2 at home on a Thursday. Cronulla are W4 L4 away on a Thursday.
PENRITH v NORTH QUEENSLAND
Penrith have won just two of their last five v Cowboys and lost the game in Penrith last season.
Overall on a Friday the Cowboys lead the H2H by 4-3, but that changes to 2-1 for Penrith in Penrith on a Friday.
Noted that this game is at CommBank Stadium.
North Queensland have won just three of their last 19 away games on a Friday, and eight of their last nine away on a Friday v Sydney sides.
Since 2020, Penrith have won 21 of their last 25 games v Qld clubs.
SOUTH SYDNEY v ROOSTERS
South have lost four in a row to the Roosters. And five in a row on a Friday.
At home it is W4 L7 on a Friday for Souths v Roosters and overall since 1998 it’s W10 L16.
Since 2020 the Roosters are W2 L5 at the Olympic Stadium.
PARRAMATTA v ST GEORGE ILLAWARRA
Parramatta have won 12 of their last 15 v Dragons.
Parramatta have won 10 of their last 12 home games v Dragons.
Parramatta have won all six home games v Dragons on a Saturday since 1999.
Parramatta won three from four home games on a Saturday last season.
Dragons have lost four in a row on a Saturday to Sydney teams and won just one of their last nine away on a Saturday v Sydney teams.
GOLD COAST V DOLPHINS
Dolphins are undefeated v Titans on the Gold Coast in two starts.
Dolphins’ chances of making the finals are extremely slim after starting 0-4.
Dolphins have won just three of 11 away games on a Saturday.
Dolphins are four wins from four games away to Qld sides that aren’t the Broncos.
Dolphins are W4 L1 v Qld sides away, when the games isn’t at Suncorp Stadium.
Gold Coast have won their last four home games on a Saturday.
Gold Coast have won just three of 12 home games on a Saturday v Qld sides.
BRISBANE v WESTS TIGERS
Broncos have won just one of their last four home games v Wests Tigers. It’s a more solid W5 L2 v Tigers at home on a Saturday. It’s an even better W10 L2 on a Saturday anywhere v Tigers on a Saturday.
Broncos have lost their last three home games on a Saturday.
The Tigers win at Redcliffe in Round 3 was their first away win on a Saturday in nine games.
MANLY v MELBOURNE
Manly have won three straight over Melbourne at Brookvale.
Melbourne have won the last three matches v Manly on a Sunday.
Manly have won 11 of their last 13 games at home on a Sunday.
Manly have won six in a row at home to non-Sydney clubs.
Since 2011, Manly have won 16 of their last 18 homes games on a Sunday to non-Sydney clubs.
Melbourne played one away game on a Sunday in 2023 and 2024, and lost both.
BULLDOGS v NEWCASTLE
Since 2011, Bulldogs have five of 23 home games on a Sunday.
Newcastle have not had a consecutive result across 11 games at the Olympic Stadium on a Sunday.
Newcastle lost all four away games on a Sunday in 2024 v Sydney opposition.

HOW DO TEAMS END UP THAT WIN/LOSE ALL THEIR FIRST FOUR GAMES?
Last week in our Round 3 Stats and Results roundup we looked into the end season result after losing or winning the first three games. So why not do it for four games in a row too.
TEAM THAT HAVE WON THEIR FIRST FOUR GAMES (14 teams since 2013)
- All but one team made the finals
- There have only been three Premiers.
- The average finishing position is 4.4.
- Six teams made the top four.
- The only side to miss the finals was Newcastle who won all four games in 2015, then ended up finishing dead last, winning only four more games for the season.
TEAM THAT HAVE LOST THEIR FIRST FOUR GAMES (13 teams since 2013)
- The average finishing position in 13.3.
- Six of the teams finished last.
- Just two made the finals. Manly made the top 4 in 2021.
