Our famed barely interesting stats all in the one place for this week of fewer games.
ROO v BRI
Roosters have won five of the past six games v Broncos.
Roosters have won nine of their last 11 home games v Broncos.
Roosters have won all three of the clashes at home v Broncos on a Thursday.
Broncos have lost their last four away games on a Thursday v all opposition.
Roosters have won 22 of their last 26 games v Qld opposition.
Roosters have lost four of their last five Round 1 fixtures at the SFS.
WTI v NEW
Newcastle have won six in a row v Wests Tigers.
Tigers lead Newcastle 4-2 in the Friday H2H but none of those games have been at Campbelltown or Leichhardt.
Wests Tigers have lost their last three Round 1 games but hold a decent Round 1 record of 63%. Amazingly their last two Round 1 games at Campbelltown have seen wins by the exact same scoreline of 34-26.
Going back to 2015, Newcastle have won just five of their last 23 away games on a Friday.
Wests Tigers have lost their last seven games at Campbelltown on a Friday, and won just three of 15 games there as the Wests Tigers.
DOL v SOU
Souths have lost four of their last five away games in Round 1. Dolphins are undefeated in Round 1 v Sydney based clubs.
Including pre season games, South Sydney have lost their last nine games.
Dolphins have a record of W5 L1 v Sydney teams at Suncorp Stadium.
Dolphins have lost all four games at Suncorp Stadium on a Friday.
South Sydney have won three of their last four on a Friday at Suncorp Stadium.
BUL v STI
Bulldogs are on a three game winning run v St George Illawarra.
Bulldogs have won seven of their last eight games v Dragons on a Saturday.
Bulldogs record at Kogarah is W8 L3 since 1998.
Dragons have won their last two Round 1 games.
Bulldogs have won just two of their last 12 Round 1 games. Unfairly, the last six Round 1 games for the Bulldogs have been away games. Some of those games have been in Townsville and Auckland.
MAN v NQL
North Queensland have won five of their last six games at Brookvale.
Manly have won just two of their last eight home games v Qld opponents. Three of those home games have been at Suncorp Stadium.
North Queensland’s last away game ended their season in the finals, but prior to that the Cowboys had won six straight away trips.
North Queensland have won eight of their last ten v Sydney opposition.
Cowboys are W1 L3 for Round 1 games v Sydney opposition away. Overall it is W12 from 27 Round 1 games.
Manly have only won three games of nine matches from Round 1 at Brookvale.
MEL v PAR
Melbourne last lost a Round 1 match in 2001.
Melbourne have won eight of their last nine matches at AAMI Park on a Sunday.
Melbourne have won 18 of their last 20 home matches at AAMI Park.
Melbourne have won four in a row v Eels, but lost the four games before that.
Melbourne have won 12 of the 13 games played v Parramatta on a Sunday.
