FOOTBALL | 2025 Football Draws Tips of the Week – February 21-24

Love is in the air being Valentine’s Day, and who doesn’t love a football draw. They say there can only be winners and losers in sport, but of course they’re wrong, there’s always the draw, and who doesn’t love a draw where everyone wins. Those winners include canny punters who look for value, and here to help is our Football Draws Tips of the Week – February 14-17.

Our resident draw expert Frankington Stanley runs his keen eye over the many football divisions around the world to find the best draws for you. He’s sort of like the John West of Football draws, he hates Dog Salmon and lop sided fixtures. Frankington spent the off season ignoring the Euros to continent-hop across dozens of countries to assess the best league and teams for draws.

Frankington Stanley is not fussy, no country or continent is out of bounds, and the more obscure the better. And some of them are quite obscure. They don’t even feature on the Who Scored website.

So get yourself ready for another weekly serving of the finest Football Draw tips from all over the world, where The Gurgler and Frankington Stanley take the stale out of stalemate.

It’s all you can eat draws. Grab a spoon.

Qatar – Stars League – Al-Sadd v Al-Duhail SC

First v second in any league is a big occasion, and this Qatari classic should be no different. And often in leagues around the world the top two clash often ends in a draw. Although we are providing Donald Trump levels of proof to go with that assertion. What we can say with authority is that two of the last three games between these sides at Al-Sadd have ended in a draw. So a stale mate is not out of the question.

Oman – Professional League – Saham v Al-Nasr

Who’d think that Oman would be a stopover for this week’s Draws of the Week. Maybe you haven’t visited us enough. And you should. This week we offer up Saham v Al-Nasr Salalah, where the last game between the sides at Saham ended up with a 0-0 score line. Would you believe that these sides have an identical season record W5 D2 L7.

Belgium – Jupiler Pro League – Anderlecht v Union St Gilloise

The last two, and three of the last four games between these sides have ended in a draw. The last two being the draw purists favourite 0-0. Neither team has strong draw results for this season in general, but the is 4th and 5th and so could be cagey enough for a hat trick of double blot.

Belgium – Second Division – SC Lokeren-Temse v Club Brugge B

These teams have only met once, and Lokeren-Temse got their bot-temse spanked 4-0 by the Brugge B’s. But SC Lokeren-Temse have drawn two of their last three home games, and have only won once in ten games at home, so may settle for a draw.

Greece – Second Division – Super League 2 Grp. A Promotion Group – Iraklis v Athlitiki Enosi Larissa

Two of the last three games between these promotion chasers in Greece have ended in a draw when played at Iraklis. Tough going for Iraklis though, as Larissa didn’t lose a game in the regular season.

Austria – Bundesliga – SCR Altach v Hartberg

The other Bundesliga provides a draw for your consideration. Hartberg like a draw recently with three in their last five games. Not to be outdone Altach’s last four home games ended DLDL.

Bulgaria – A PFG – Septemvri v Levski Krumovgrad

Lots of draws in recent matches for these sides. Krumovgrad have drawn their last two and Septemvri have drawn their last home game. Krumovgrad have also drawn their last away game and drawn four of their last six away.

Turkey – Super Lig – Sivasspor v Konyaspor

Time to talk Turkey, and the draws on offer. This match between 14th and 15th looks ripe for a stale mate. First of all, two of the last three games have ended in a draw (in normal time). Add to that three of the last six home games for Sivasspor have ended in a draw and Konyaspor’s last four away is DLLL, they might well snap up a draw and a valuable point.

Israel – Ligat ha’Al – Ironi Tiberias v FC Ashdod

We have to admit ignorance here and the need to use Google to find out what league these teams play in. Israel probably wouldn’t have been our first guess, but here we are. As for the draw stats, these sides have only met twice and neither game was a draw. But a positive is Ironi Tiberias have drawn three of their last five games at home. And FC Ashdod drew their second last game away from home.
