NRL | 2025 NRL Jerseys Ratings

The NRL 2025 season isn’t far away and like most rugby league fans we are scrambling for something interesting to think about. So why not at the 2025 NRL Jersey offerings for the season ahead.

Our look into the 2025 NRL Jerseys displays all the jerseys we know about for 2025, plus we rate the home and away jerseys for each club and come up with an average.

2025 NRL Jerseys

Here is all their glory is the current full range of 2025 NRL Jerseys that we know of. We’re sure the Warriors and Wests Tigers have more in store. And stores.

We have the Hoem & Away (and alternative where available) and will rate them later on.

As we grouped them into six, and there are only 17 teams currently, we asked AI to design the new PNG NRL team’s jersey and worn by Greg Norman.

2025 NRL Jerseys Ratings

BRISBANE BRONCOS

HOME 4/10 — AWAY 2/10 — AVERAGE 3/10

Broncos have tried their best to make maroon and yellow look dull, perhaps it’s an indication of their chances this season. Perhaps the lack of yellow means they are trying to be more like Queensland. The away shirt is unchanged from 2024, and remain a carbon copy of a 90’s golf shirt, missing only that Penguin logo washed down with a Foster’s Lite Ice at the halfway mark.

CANBERRA RAIDERS

HOME 6/10 — AWAY 7/10 — AVERAGE 6.5/10

The home jersey for the Raiders looks like a classic you’d expect to see in the nation’s capital. Just a pity it isn’t a jersey that can attract players. And it isn’t sponsored by Canberra Milk or Video Ezy. The away jersey is either a nod towards or a complete rip off of the ACT Brumbies jersey. No one likes rugby though. One also wonders about having an alternative third jersey that looks a lot like the home jersey. Looks good though.

CANTERBURY BULLDOGS

HOME 5/10 — AWAY 5/10 — AVERAGE 5/10

A solid pair, and we do like a good away jersey reverse. The logo seems to take over a bit too much space however.

CRONULLA SHARKS

HOME 5/10 — AWAY 8/10 — AVERAGE 6.5/10

The Sharks home jersey looks like a standard issue, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Perhaps it would look better if it had rugby league’s nicest man Nicho Hynes wearing it. But the away jersey is a different matter, it is a quality effort. We like a black coloured alternative, and this one also doubles as a mean shark lookalike. No, not that Shark.

DOLPHINS

HOME 8/10 — AWAY 8/10 — AVERAGE 8/10

The new mostly red Dolphins home jersey is a vast improvement from the Vanilla Coke effort of their first two seasons. The sand colour is now as much as should have been. The extra white and chevrons are a nice touch too. So much better. As for the away jersey, it is the popular third jersey from last season, which was excellent then, and excellent now.

GOLD COAST TITANS

HOME 4/10 — AWAY 3/10 — AVERAGE 3.5

It’s hard to work with the Titans’ colour and not having the jerseys look so crap. The 2025 offerings are ok, with the away jersey looking more Mats Wilander than any other NRL team. One thing for the home jersey, the Titans eyes is a cool feature, but then the giant sponsors logo ball makes it look like a multi coloured clown nose.

MANLY SEA EAGLES

HOME 5/10 — AWAY 5/10 — AVERAGE 5/10

Not a bad arrangement between home and away, with not a rainbow in sight. The home jersey is enough of a nod to days of yore, and the away is enough. It is Manly after all.

MELBOURNE STORM

HOME 4/10 — AWAY 3/10 — AVERAGE 3.5/10

We preferred it when Melbourne’s jersey had more purple than dark blue, but the lightning mark on the side is quite cool. Maybe needs to be bigger. The away jersey looks less like Donald Duck’s sailor outfit than previous years, but is a little dull. Perhaps they wear it to be less conspicuous around Melbourne. They shouldn’t feen the need, as Melbourneites don’t care for “rugby” outside of September.

NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS

HOME 5/10 — AWAY 5/10 — AVERAGE 5/10

The green NIB logo is still too big or the wrong colour for that shirt, but that might work for them. It’s a standard offering from Newcastle that’s got a middle of the ladder feel about it.

NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS

HOME 7/10 — AWAY 5/10 — AVERAGE 6/10

It’s been 30 years since the Cowboys joined the NRL/NSWRL and the home jersey is a good nod to their first jersey from back in the day. The away is a nice switch of colours, but looks dull. Not much you can do with white, grey and dark blue. The third/alternative jersey looks like a Christmas clothing gift that you won’t wear but can’t give away.

PARRAMATTA EELS

HOME 4/10 — AWAY 9/10 — AVERAGE 6.5/10

The away jersey looks so much better than the home jersey. Can’t explain why, but the away has a great 1980’s retro feel good factor about it. The home jersey stripes still look like they were stitched on by a cheap parent.

PENRITH PANTHERS

HOME 7/10 — AWAY 7/10 — AVERAGE 7/10

Penrith are winners, and their 2025 jerseys look like winners again.

ST GEORGE ILLAWARRA DRAGONS

HOME 5/10 — AWAY 9/10 — AVERAGE 7/10

Yes to a proper Illawarra away jersey and for games we presume in Wollongong. The home jersey looks standard, although strange to see a new logo on the front, as it will to see Damien Cook and King Gutho wearing them.

SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS

HOME 6/10 — AWAY 6/10 — AVERAGE 6/10

Souths do what Souths do best, keeping it same, simple. That works for Souths and the fans wearing them all over the world as the Random Souths fan.

SYDNEY ROOSTERS

HOME 5/10 — AWAY 5/10 — AVERAGE 5/10

Steggles missing from the front of the jerseys will take some getting used to, but BYD makes sense being a wealthy inner-city club. The Roosters haven’t steered too far away from the usual, that’s not a bad thing.

NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS

HOME 8/10 — AWAY 8/10 — AVERAGE 8/10

Love both. For some reason really like the away jersey and the home is a tremendous nod to the original in the season 30 years after they join the NRL/NSWRL.

WESTS TIGERS

HOME 5/10 — AWAY 5/10 — AVERAGE 5/10

It does have our favourite home/away switch, which hopefully gets along better than the factions at the club/s. We’re sure this will be the only NRL list this season that the Wests Tigers are last on.
