DRAW OF THE WEEK
Here is the best of the best draw tips for the week.
Switzerland – Super League Championship Group – Lugano v Servette
ODDS – DRAW $3.30
FORM / STATS – Where better to have your draw of the week than neutral Switzerland? Even their flag is squared shaped, meaning equal for all sides.
Three of the last six between these sides have ended in a draw, which is a good start. Then you have a look at the pattern sand it screams draw for this weekend.
The last six results – most recent game first – Non Draw-Draw-Non Draw-Draw-Non Draw-Draw.
The second last game at Lugano between these sides was a draw.
It even has that classic draw price of $3.30.
OTHER DRAW SPECIALS
Swedish – Superettan – Helsingborgs v Landskrona
ODDS – DRAW $3.25
FORM / STATS – To the first of a Swedish double, and no we’re not talking an adult film in a sauna nor some product at Ikea, it’s all about Swedish football draws.
First up is Helsingborgs v Landskrona, both of which could serve as names for a generous coffee table and washing basket at Ikea, but these are sides destined to draw this weekend.
The Superettan is only young but Helsingborgs have already drawn five of their nine games this season. But if that isn’t draw-y enough for you, then Helsingborgs have yet to win any of their five home games this season and four of those games have ended in a draw.
Landskrona aren’t without draws either, with two from their five away games ending equal.
Swedish – Superettan – Utsiktens v IK Brage
ODDS – DRAW $3.25
FORM / STATS – The second Swedish draw on offer sees both these teams coming into this game following a draw. And if that’s not enough to convince you, Utsiktens also drew the game before that.
Egyptian Football – Pharco FC v Smouha
ODDS – DRAW $2.75
FORM / STATS – Talking of football pyramids, here is a draw special from Egpyt, a favourite league of our draw expert Frankington Stanley.
There’s not much history between these two sides that we could find on our standard Who Scored search, but at least 50% of the games played between these sides at Pharco has ended in a draw.
Whilst that may only be 1/2 it’s still 50%, and are you going to bet against it?
Bosnia-Herzegovina Cup 1 – Borac Banja Luka v Zrinjski
ODDS – DRAW $3.10
FORM / STATS – It’s a big cup game, so those usually bring some pressure. And wouldn’t you know it the last time Borac Banja Luka were in the Bosnia-Herzegovina Cup final they drew 0-0. That’s what you came here for isn’t it?
Also the second last game between these sides at Borac Banja Luka ended in a draw. You can almost Banka a draw here.
Evronuli Liga – 2024 Georgia – FC Telavi v Samgurali Tskaltubo
ODDS – DRAW $2.80
FORM / STATS – We end the weekly special with Georgia On Our Mind.
And who wouldn’t be singing the old sweet song of draw when the teams have five draws combined from their last five games each. That’s a 50% record that we need.
EURO DRAW SPECIAL OF THE WEEK
Some have accused us of picking easy leagues for our draws. First of all, how dare you, secondly we introduce our Euro Leagues draw of the week, where we scan the four biggest leagues in Europe for the finest draws. It could be Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, or Ligue 1, but what it will always be is a quality eye for a draw.
ITALY SERIE A – JUVENTUS v MONZA
ODDS – DRAW $5.00
FORM / STATS – So the last six games haven’t seen a draw between these sides. Don’t worry, they’re doing the drawing themselves.
Juventus have drawn six in a row in Serie A, and four of their last five at home. As for Monza, they have drawn two of their last three away games.
The only fly in the ointment is that this the final day of the season and Juventus might need to win to stay in the top four and therefore Champions League football. Monza are 12th and can’t really achieve anything on the final day of the season.
But maybe Juventus aren’t in the form to win and a draw will suffice.
But how’s the value?
