Here are the GurglerBet choice sporting events for the weekend ahead that you should probably tune into, and a special betting offer from each that you probably won’t find anywhere else.

US Masters

ALL WEEKEND FROM THURSDAY (US)

If you only watch one or two golf tournament a year, and let’s face it that’s most casual sporting fans, then the US Masters is it.

There’s just something about the tournament that draws you in. That classic background music as they go to ad breaks, the scenery, the history of the many, many Greg Norman bad luck breaks, or the time slot.

For Australians, there always seems to be an Aussie with strong claims who teases a potential win for much of the weekend.

For others, there’s a lot more Fred Couples and Bernard Langer than usual, which is a good thing. We are particularly keen on Bernard Langer sneaking his way to a first round lead this year.

Then there’s Tiger Woods. Don’t worry, you won’t miss a single shot, walk, bum scratch, nothing. The coverage will show every moment of the human headline’s tournament. Good if you’re into that.

Phil Mickleson will also get more coverage than most will want, maybe it’s a left v right rebalance like most media in the US.

Either way, it is the Golf tournament of choice that needs your casual viewership.

NRL

FROM THURSDAY

Easter Weekend is here, and there are some big games to get involved in this weekend.

There is the traditional Good Friday clash between the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs on Friday afternoon, with Souths the favourite as the Bulldogs are missing a mini bus of forwards through injury. Latrell Mitchell is due a big game, and so may have been saving it for this type of big stage, where Souths might get 10,000 to a home game.

An even better game should be the Thursday night clash between competition heavyweights, and teams with some of the best recent records for winning premiership and creative accounting.

In a good round there’s Penrith v Manly on Saturday, Dolphins v Cowboys on Friday night in Townsville, and Wests Tigers taking on Parramatta on Monday, which we guess will be of more interest for Fox League writers, as they prepare another week of Tiger bashing for their website and TV Shows.

AFL

FROM THURSDAY

The now traditional Brisbane Lions v Collingwood clash kicks off the AFL weekend, which is always a good contest, and with Collngwood flying high unbeaten after three games and the Lions going not so well it will be great casual viewing after the rugby league finishes. As long s the lights stay on at The Gabba.

Geelong v Hawthorn on Easter Monday is usually a quality clash too, but hard to believe they will enter this game in last and second last positions on he ladder.

FOOTBALL – PREMIER LEAGUE

With a title race, a nine team relegation battle, and some smokey teams vying for Europe, it feels like every game is important in the Premier League right now.

SUMMARY

You can smell the draw here, two of the last three games between these sides when Osijek are the away team have ended in a draw. HNK Gorica have drawn three of their past six at home, and the other games just decided by one goal. Osijek drew their last away game, and despite losing four of their last six away are still favourites. Not our favourite though, that’s the draw.

Prostejov v FC Sellier & Bellot Vlasim (Czech 2nd Div)

SUMMARY

The good old perfect balanced odds, means a draw is within reach. Prostejov are on a five  game winless streak, but that happily includes three draws. FC Sellier & Bellot Vlasim are in some decent form, and the H2H for the last six matches has no draws, but there is nothing like a draw to break winning runs and spirits, and fatten wallets.

So bet early and bet often and don’t be scared to draw.
