2022-23 Premier League Week 8 Barely Interesting Stats

Southampton’s 1-0 win over Aston Villa in November last season was the only Friday clash between these sides.

There has been 17 goals scored in the last four games between Aston Villa and Southampton at Villa Park.

The away side has won the last four meetings between Fulham and Nottingham Forest – the home side scored just one goal in total.

Fulham and Forest have never met on a Friday, but Fulham do have a 50% win strike rate for midweek clashes.

Man City have won four in a row v Wolves by a margin of 13-3.

Spurs have won four of their last five home games v Leicester. Outside of the rogue 2-0 loss, they have scored 14 goals in those four home wins. Son and Kane have eight of those 14 goals between them.

Brentford have the overall H2H advantage v Arsenal.

Brentford have also won five of their six home games v Arsenal.

West Ham have won three of the last four games at Everton. And four of the last five meetings with Everton on a Sunday.
