A Brisbane woman has spent a pleasurable evening surfing a new streaming service.
On Tuesday night, Sarah (40) signed up to ‘Nostalgia 247’, a streaming service devoted to movies, TV shows, and documentaries from 1960-2010.
Taking advantage of the generous 30-day free trial, Sarah spent some time building her ‘Favourites’ list, adding 20 TV shows, 15 movies, and five documentaries.
”I know I’ll never get through everything, but I got caught up in a nostalgia wave and couldn’t stop. Everything I saw reminded me of my childhood.”
After finishing her browsing, Sarah sat down to watch The Nanny for the first time in 20 years.
“I loved this show as a teenager and it holds up pretty well. I’ll try to finish all six seasons before my trial period ends, then I’ll cancel it. I may watch the occasional movie on the weekends to break things up.”
Everyday News is a brand new general news/parody section of The Gurgler, and definitely not a lame rip-off of ‘The Betoota Advocate’. We swear.
