We also offer up some alternative tips. These alternative tips are often based on a rugby league stat, and sometimes something completely absurd, and are aimed at those NRL tipsters who just can’t be bothered.

2022 NRL Round 17 Predictions – Alternative Tips – Kings of Kicking
Short on inspiration already? Or looking for that edge to your tipping that no one else in your competition has? Well here are the Alternative NRL Tips for this round.
Since it looks like it’s going to be another wet weekend and we are too lazy to do stats on teams on wet tracks, we’re going with the next best thing for a wet day – a good kicking game.
So we got stats on three key kicking stats – Kick Metres, Forced Dropouts and Kicked Dead – and ranked each team from 1-16. We then determined an average across the three for this week’s score. The better the rank, the better the kicking game, so the better chance of winning in the wet.
Strange thing is 7/8 teams this weekend are in the bottom half for our kicking stats. Check out the visual further in the article for the actual individual stats.
