Welcome to the new addition of our football family with our Boxing Day EFL Championship Predictions Week 21 and also some of League One and League Two.
We do love the Premier League and offer plenty on it every week – including our big weekly previews – but our first love is the English Football League’s three lower tiers.
As our Premier League previews do, we offer up some predictions with accompanying stats for the Championship, League One and League Two for the weekend ahead.
First we have a summary of the matches ahead for each division, then a focus on the either the TV games or best games on offer for each division.
Our overall winning percentage is based on a number of stats of points per game won, with form and home and away factored in. There’s the overall H2H record plus some key season stats from the season so far. All fed into our SNC3000 Super Computer to determine the final winning chances.
If you’re looking for a bet, or just something mildly interesting about the football this weekend, then enjoy our EFL Championship Predictions Week 20 + League One and League Two.
A disclaimer that we are long term Ipswich Town fans and a recent AFC Wimbledon conversion a decade ago.
Boxing Day EFL Championship Predictions Week 21
Boxing Day EFL Championship Predictions Week 21 – Feature Matches
Each week we’ll go a little further with the stats in a handful of games.
This week it is three TV games available on BeIn Sports worldwide.
Norwich to beat Watford who have sacked yet another manager and hired another one we’ve never heard of.
EFL League One Predictions Week 19
Covid has hit four of the 12 games planned this weekend, including our team Ipswich Town, who we are certain would have disappointed in advance.
EFL League One Predictions – Feature Match
Not much happening in League One this weekend for head to head battles, so we went with the closest draw.
EFL League Two Predictions
Three draws for the full program of fixtures and not much in most of the other games really.
The SNC3000 seems to like last placed Southend to upset the much higher Colchester for the win.
And a decent upset of Crawley to beat Newport. One wonders if the computer has had too much pre Xmas cheer.
EFL League Two Predictions – Feature Match
The first League Two feature match is a match between top seven sides in Exeter (6th) and Forest Green Rovers (2nd).
The other featured match where the teams are separated by only one league position (Salford 7th and Walsall 8th) but the form is completely different. Walsall are on a winning streak of four games. Salford are unbeaten n their last four games, but have two draws.
