Welcome to the new feature of the website our GurglerBet Blurst Bets Weekly Betting Preview for the big weekend of sporting action ahead.

GURGLERBET SPORTING WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS
AUSTRALIA v INDIA
With One Day cricket effectively depriving the Big Bash of decent players, we may as well enjoy this series which kicks off this weekend. ODIs between Australia and India are always competitive, and India have a good and improving record in Australia.
Currently Australia are $1.58 favourites with some real value for India at $2.35. India have won four of the last five ODI series and won the last series in Australia 2-1. Although they did get well beaten 4-1 in the preceding Australian ODI series.
Some bets worth considering:
For the fence sitter there is Both Teams to score 250+ run @ $1.70
Indian fans could take the India win/Virat Kohli high score double @ $6.00
While the David Warner/Pat Cummins top runs/wickets double looks like value at $13.00
CHELSEA v SPURS
Big top of the table clash in the Premier League with the added spice of Jose Mourinho taking his new Spurs side back to Chelsea where he had much premiership success in the day.
The only worry is that before this season, Jose had not won away at a former club in the EPL in seven attempts. Spurs’ 6-1 demolition of Man Utd earlier in the season might be the turning point.
However, Chelsea have played just one game against a top six side this season and lost. Top six is table position at time of match.
Chelsea $2.05 Spurs $3.50 Draw $3.40.
So Spurs look like good value, but as the big games often go in the Premier League, the draw looks a delicious $3.40 as is worth a slice.
MELBOURNE STARS v SYDNEY THUNDER
There is a final to be played in cricket this weekend as the Women’s Big Bash Final.
Melbourne Stars $1.50 Sydney Thunder $2.60
There was only one win between the sides at season’s end, but Stars had the much better Net Run Rate.
Stars did lose three of their last five matches in regular season, Thunder lost two.
Melbourne did it fairly easy in their knockout finals game where Sydney had the work a little harder.
Since Sydney beat Brisbane, out of spite we’ll say Melbourne.
FA CUP ROUND TWO
The world’s greatest sporting competition enters round two, and there are still non obscure lower league nobodies hoping to make it into the third round when the Premier League teams enter.
Way too many games to assess, but there’s loads of value or cupsets to be had.
