S&C Sports Data have data from 10 seasons of Premier League, and created a measure of each team’s head to head record over that period, on a sliding scale from current day backwards.

Then the team in question and the opposition’s overall and recent form is taken into consideration, including measuring the relative form of the two sides.

The Match Rater 3000 score is then produced, with a range of 1 being the easiest possible fixture up to 10 for the hardest.

So the S&C measure combines many fields to give an overall picture for the next three games.

• Man Utd can build on the good result v Liverpool with an easy run.
• Home of the FPL cheap special – Brighton – have a great run too.
• Further down we take the predicted points from matching the difficulty ratings of each team and compare it to their current points haul. It is mildly interesting. Just the way we like it.
