F1 is back in Europe and a three week break has given the opportunity for the others to catch up with Mercedes. Unfortunately going on practice and qualifying form it appears that silver cars will head the field and the rest are playing for third.
And the best value betting for the race will be who gets that last podium spot.
Only unreliability or an intra team smash will derail more dominance.
Ricciardo looks best of the rest in third with vettel grabbing problems and luck usually only associated with red bull cars with number two on them. 15th will be hard to take but at least Maldonado is at the back after his meeting with a wall in qualifying. Vettel may just get through the first corner.
However Alonso on home soil and in any race can never be discounted nor can the Williams which look good in bottas’ hands.
With Mercedes likely to dominate and Hamilton to do so further we gave the usual array of exotics to keep you interested until midnight.
