2026 Miami F1 Grand Prix Prix-view – Race Potential Rating

The Gurgler does like to use some obscure drivers in our Race previews and report, so who better to use than Teo Fabi to determine a race rating system.
So before each race we give a rating out of ten for four key category that are loosely based on each letter of Teo Fabi’s surname. Don’t know who Teo Fabi is, you should.
FAST? 2 / 10 – Not really. It has a few shortish straights, and a bit of a sweeping section, but it’s not enough. Points taken off due to having a fake harbour with boats.
ACTION? 3 / 10 – Even though it is a street track of sorts, it still isn’t very interesting. DNFs aren’t too common and the circuit runs under a highway.
BIG HISTORY? – 1 / 10 – No, just four races so far, and none of them stick in the mind for on track action. Can only remember it was a track that Sky F1 invited Danica Patrick to come and ruin the coverage for.
INCLEMENT WEATHER? – 6 /10 – The Weather Channel says 60% chance of rain on the Sunday with Thunderstorms no less.
RACE POTENTIAL RATING 30% – Possibly the least favourite track of the year, way too many celebrities, and not enough on track action.
