EPL Matchweek 11 Predictions – Gurgler v EPL 17-18 Kits Ranked

Time for our weekly EPL bits and pieces where we talk thing English Premier League plus our EPL Matchweek 11 Predictions.

With the International break looming, teams will be looking to head into that period with a nice swag of points. The two weeks between games can be a long time, especially if you are a Manager under pressure, as it is a great time to change it up.

Like Slaven Bilic at West Ham who has been given another game to promote himself enough to stay. Stoke’s Mark Hughes got a timely win at Watford to avoid the dreaded full confidence of the board. Three managers down and still a vacancy at Everton, which will likely become a vacancy at Burnley when the Toffees steal Sean Dyche. And apparently Conte at Chelsea.

The there’s the fallout of the midweek European fixtures. Spurs on a high after beating Real Madrid 3-1, and Manchester City will be feeling good after knocking off Serie A high flyers Napoli. Both face easy opposition this week in Crystal Palace and Arsenal. Liverpool did the job against Maribor and Man U did the same too. Only Chelsea had their pants pulled down, by Roma 3-0, and face the possibility of some on field buses this week against Man Utd.

So much to get into, but instead of boring our few readers to death and get into what we’ve selected and our slightly absurd method of selecting opponent tips, here’s a few of our favourite things.

A FEW OUR OF FAVOURITE THINGS FOR THE EPL MATCHWEEK 11 AHEAD

FTA GAME in AUSTRALIANEWCASTLE v BOURNEMOUTH SUNDAY 2AM / 1AM – Not much to choose from with the Sunday games, so why not have a look at promoted sleeping giants Newcastle and the plucky bournemouth who seem to be running out of EPL steam after their great rise from the fourth division.

SUNDAY IS SUPER FOR A CHANGE – They like to give the tag of Super Sunday in the EPL, but this week it seems justified. Spurs v Crystal Palace could be a cracking game, and it an entree to two games featuring Big 6 teams. Man City v Arsenal should feature goals. Man Utd v Chelsea probably won’t. Pity those games are so damn late, although sleep will probably be induced with the buses at Stamford Bridge.

    GURGLER’S EPL TIPPING COMPETITION

Each week we will put our tips up against an opponent, just like Lawro’s tips on the BBC Football website. But instead of having famous comedian and musicians we’ve never heard of, we put our tips up against a different type of opponent.

We determine tips based on some ridiculous premise or statistic, and we then see if arse truly beat class.

This week’s opponent is based on how the 2017-2018 EPL kits have been rated.

    OUR EPL MATCHWEEK 11 PREDICTIONS

Onto our selections for the round ahead, with added scores to take on Lawro from the BBC. Our tips were great last weekend with 8 correct, can we do it again or better? Of course we can. We got one correct score too, and our bold predictions for score are alongside our weekly tips.
