The Own Goal – The Gurgler’s UK Football Weekly – Last Weeks

The Gurgler's weekly does of UK Football is here and just the way our many reader like it. You could get better and in more in depth coverage elsewhere, but you come for the multis and stay for the wins. Plus we specialise in the Football League which interests most EPL football fans for about 1% of the season. So here's your 1%, with interest.

Just three/four games to go in the Football League/EPL and there’s plenty to like. Title battle in the EPL between two unlikely sides, a genuine three horse race for one final spot of safety in the EPL, and battles for promotion and relegation all through the Football League. And the race for the EPL riches is on in the Championship.

There’s only a few week’s to go, so it’s worth the lack of sleep now. Although by then the new BeIn Sports on Foxtel deal kicks in, and then there’s still more reasons not to sleep. And they’ve announced their official kick off date which includes the Football League playoffs.

So not our brief rundown of highlights, updates and multi tips which due to win again sometime before the season is over.

FA CUP

GURGLER SELECTS – NO GOAL MULTI

Both games to end up 0-0 at 90mins.
Pays $90

EPL

Just the 7 games this week due to the FA Cup, so why not combine them into a convenient multi.

Points of Interest:

BOURNEOUTH v CHELSEA – Just 4 years ago Chelsea won the Champions League and Bournemouth were an upper mid table third division team. A win for The Cherries would draw them level with Chelsea on points (if not goal difference) and they would complete the double over the reigning champions. Extraordinary really.
