La Propia Meta – La Liga Edition

The Spanish teams are back in action already, and there's a full La Liga program to go with the games from the UK this weekend.

With most of Europe on a selfish Winter break, the Spanish are giving back to the fans with a full round of games to watch (if you’re lucky enough to have BeIn Sports in Australia) and follow this weekend.

That’s on the back of a full round of games on Wednesday night Spanish time.

Highlights of those games was the 500th game for Barcelona for Lionel Messi in which he scored his 425th goal, an incredible run of sustained quality. Suarez got two also as further proof that Barcelona have the best front three in world football. Messi probably wanted to get his name in the headlines after Ronaldo had earlier scored a double, in their never ending battle for best player in the world.

The side interest is the continuing education of Gary Neville as Valencia manager, they take on no less than Real Madrid this weekend.

HIGHLIGHTS

ESPANYOL v BARCELONA – The Barcelona Derby – moaybe as one sided as the media coverage share.
VALENCIA v REAL MADRID – Can Neville get his first win against the super power who have lost 2 of their last 3 away games.

LA GURGLER MULTI
ATHLETIC BILBAO to beat Las Palmas
ATLETICO MADRID to beat Levante
REAL MADRID to beat Valencia
UNDER 2.5 GOALS – Deportivo v Villareal
$1 for $TBC (probably bugger all)
